Caesars has a new credit card that will allow players easier access to gain higher status with its widely popular rewards program. The new Caesars Rewards credit card offers a variety of ways to earn tier credits and increased benefits for the casino loyalty program.

Caesars Rewards claims it has more than 65 million members. The new credit card can help newer members gain access to new benefits in the program quicker than by just using a rewards card inside the casinos.

For the first time, new and existing Caesars Rewards members can earn Reward Credits and Tier Credits using the Caesars Rewards credit card.

“Caesars Rewards is the largest loyalty program in the industry, and we continue to challenge ourselves to find new ways to reward our members and help get them the best offers and rewards in the business,” said Josh Jones, chief marketing officer of Caesars Entertainment.

Jones continued by saying,

“(O)ur Caesars Rewards members now have even more opportunities to unlock the experiences and service that only Caesars Rewards can provide.”

The new Caesars Rewards credit card works alongside the loyalty program. Caesars Rewards members have been able to earn Reward Credits to use on casino play, dining, travel, and entertainment at the more than 50 Caesars properties around the country.

Sports bettors and online casino players have also been able to earn rewards such as bonus play and sports bets using the Caesars Sportsbook and Caesars Casino app.

The newly expanded program will allow customers also to earn Tier Credits. These are the credits that accumulate so customers can earn higher status levels and greater benefits with Caesars Rewards.

All new and current Caesars Rewards Visa cardholders will automatically be eligible to earn Reward Credits and Tier Credits under the new program.

How the Ceasars Rewards credit card works

This might sound obvious, but Caesars Rewards members will need to sign up for the credit card. The first perk of the new credit card program is similar to the previous version.

The first purchase using the Caesars Rewards credit card outside of a Caesars property will give a customer a Platinum status upgrade and 2,500 Tier Credits. The key benefit of the Platinum tier is free self-parking. This is a value of up to $18 per day at Caesars Palace.

If a customer spends $1,000 outside of Caesars properties within the first 90 days of having a Caesars Rewards credit card, they will receive 10,000 Reward Credits and 2,500 Tier Credits.

Lastly, 5,000 Tier Credits will be earned with an annual spend of $5,000 or more outside of a Caesars property.

Members can earn more Caesars Rewards Credits when spending at a Caesars property.

The new credit allows members to earn five times the Reward Credits for every dollar spent at a Caesars property around the US.

Additionally, members can earn twice the Reward Credits for every dollar spent on restaurants, travel, and entertainment outside Caesars Entertainment.

Caesars Rewards tiers

Caesars Rewards isn’t just the largest casino rewards program, but it boasts more tiers than most. Each level of Caesars Rewards offers more benefits than the lower levels.

Here’s how many Tier Credits a Caesars Rewards customer will need to jump to different levels of the program.

  • Gold: All
  • Platinum: 5,000 Tier Credits
  • Diamond: 15,000 Tier Credits
  • Diamond Plus: 25,000 Tier Credits
  • The Diamond Elite: 75,000 Tier Credits
  • Seven Stars: 150,000 Tier Credits

The Diamond tier level of Caesars Rewards is a benchmark level for many customers. Diamond is the level where hotel guests don’t pay a resort fee when staying at a Caesars hotel.

Resort fees vary by property but can offer savings up to $45 per night when staying at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Simple math shows that this is a savings of up to $90 plus tax on a hotel room for a weekend in Las Vegas.

Diamond tier level members also receive a $100 celebration dinner to use at the property of their choice.

Caesars Rewards really wants Diamond Elite members to visit Las Vegas. In addition to the regular Diamond benefits, members at this level receive a $600 airfare credit for flights to Las Vegas.
