Fanatics Sportsbook has secured a piece of the Missouri sports betting market and will be one of eight mobile operators offering sports wagering when it launches on Dec. 1. The fast-growing sportsbook is available in 22 states and Washington, D.C., and that number will increase to 23 once Missouri goes live in less than two weeks.

Fanatics Sportsbook users can now open an account and make deposits. Because Missouri is a new market, Fanatics and its competitors are offering a range of promotional deals. Understanding how these offers work and what’s required to claim them can help bettors determine which sportsbooks are the best fit and which promotions suit their betting style.

While several competitors are running promos similar to those available in other states, Fanatics is offering a substantial sign-up bonus worth up to $3,000, available only during the pre-launch window, which ends on Dec. 1.

Here’s how the Missouri Fanatics sports betting promo works:

  1. Sign up during the pre-launch period.
  2. Deposit at least $50 and opt-in to the promo.
  3. Make 15 bets of at least $1 with odds at -500

If any of those bets lose, bettors will earn Fan Cash equal to the amount lost.

For example, if a bettor made 15 bets of $200 with odds of at least -500 and all 15 lost, they would earn $3,000 in Fan Cash. This offer is similar to other sportsbooks’ “no-sweat” first bets.

However, instead of remaining in the sportsbook account for future wagers, the bonus converts into reward dollars that can be used to purchase sports merchandise. Fanatics Sportsbook is the only platform in Missouri that allows no-sweat bonus bets to be used outside the sports wagering platform.

Fanatics Fan Cash explained: Spend your bonus on sports gear

Fan Cash is a rewards system linked to Fanatics’ merchandise store, which offers gear for all major sports leagues and teams, including NCAA programs and Formula 1. Typically, Fanatics customers earn Fan Cash on each purchase and can apply it to future purchases.

For example, if a customer has $150 in Fan Cash and buys a $150 Patrick Mahomes jersey, the Fan Cash offsets the cost of the jersey. The buyer is responsible for taxes, fees, and shipping. Therefore, a Fanatics Sportsbook bettor who earns the maximum $3,000 in Fan Cash could spend the full amount on merchandise for their favorite team.

Missouri sports betting: Key pre-launch rules and requirements

Missouri opened its pre-launch registration window on Nov. 17, allowing bettors to set up accounts and make deposits ahead of the launch. No wagers, including futures, can be placed until launch day.

When Missouri sports betting goes live on Dec. 1, bettors will have a wide range of sports on which to place wagers, including professional leagues and NCAA. Bettors must be physically present in Missouri and at least 21 years old to place bets on the state’s platforms.
