The opportunity to win one of the largest Mega Millions jackpots in game history remains after Tuesday night’s drawing produced no jackpot winner.
With no ticket matching all six numbers, the estimated jackpot climbed from $707 million to $743 million for the Friday, July 24 drawing. It remains the 10th-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history, trailing the $810 million prize won in Texas in September 2024.

March winner remains last Mega Millions jackpot claimed
Tuesday’s winning numbers were 25, 37, 59, 68, and 70, with a Mega Ball of 10. Two tickets sold in Arizona and California matched all five white balls to win the game’s second prize, but neither matched the Mega Ball to claim the jackpot.
The jackpot has continued growing since a ticket sold in Van Wert, Ohio, won a $60 million prize on March 17. Every Mega Millions drawing since then has ended without a jackpot winner.
Cash option exceeds $323 million before federal taxes
Friday’s Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for 11 p.m. ET. Tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the US Virgin Islands. In jurisdictions that allow online lottery sales or licensed courier services, players may also buy Mega Millions tickets online.
If someone wins Friday’s drawing, they can choose between:
- $743 million annuity, paid over 30 years.
- $323.4 million cash option, before taxes.
Federal tax withholding would immediately reduce the cash option to approximately $245.8 million. A winner in the highest federal tax bracket could ultimately receive roughly $203.7 million before any applicable state taxes.
According to Mega Millions, annual annuity payments increase by 5% each year to help offset inflation over the 30-year payout period.
Current jackpot is 10th-largest in Mega Millions history
The jackpot has grown from $672 million last week to $743 million after another rollover, but it remains the 10th-largest Mega Millions jackpot ever offered.
If Friday’s drawing also ends without a jackpot winner, the prize could move into ninth place. Here’s how the all-time list stands entering tomorrow night’s drawing:

For comparison, Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing offered an estimated $567 million jackpot with a $251.8 million cash option.
$743M jackpot expected to drive massive ticket sales
Despite the growing prize, the odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot remain 1 in 290.5 million.
Large jackpots typically drive a surge in ticket sales, meaning Friday’s drawing is expected to attract millions of additional players.
If no ticket matches all six numbers Friday night, the jackpot will roll over again for the next drawing on Tuesday, July 28.
