As Ohio sports betting launch is fast approaching, JACK Entertainment has announced a new advertising campaign. According to Friday’s press release, the ad speaks directly to “the hearts of Ohio’s most passionate sports fans.”

Through the new commercial, a Cleveland-based gaming company introduces the sportsbook app betJACK, the only app built in Ohio for Ohio.

The video also shows the importance of local teams in the daily lives of Ohioans as it features three sports legends in the state.

BetJACK commercial explains, “It’s An Ohio Thing”

The commercial, called “It’s An Ohio Thing,” replicates the familiar characteristics of three Ohio sports legends.

As the company explained via a press release, Ohio sports fans will recognize:

“The red sweater and khaki pants of a former college football coach in Columbus;

the quirky chicken flap batting stance of Cincinnati’s favorite second baseman;

and the signature “Silencer” move of the G.O.A.T. from Akron.”

Adam Suliman, Senior Vice President of Sports & Digital Gaming for JACK Entertainment said:

“Ohio is not just a state — it’s a state of mind, a code of conduct, and a badge of honor. For our players, there’s an unapologetic hometown pride. We’re thrilled betJACK is the only sportsbook app with real insight into the Buckeye state.”

As sportsbooks continue to use ads to attract players, there will always be a ubiquitous concern: protecting vulnerable groups like the under-aged and problem gamblers.

BetJACK available as a free-to-play app

Currently available in a free-play mode, the betJACK app will feature real-money wagering as soon as the market in Ohio goes live. As announced, the state plans to launch its online gambling market on Jan. 1, 2023.

Players can download the sports wagering platform both on desktop and mobile. The app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

The betJACK app offers multiple betting options such as:

  • spreads
  • money lines
  • over/unders
  • parlays
  • same-game parlays
  • in-game betting

betJACK users can access how-to guides that explain betting options for newbies who want to start betting quickly.

The sportsbook also offers exclusive features like analytics and insights gathered from user betting behavior. It also includes virtual trophies based on specific wagers and custom challenges.

betJACK offers in-debt knowledge of the Buckeye State to customize a sportsbook for local sports fans. Likewise, users enjoy the local news, game time information and special deals.
