Paysafe, a leading specialized payments platform, announced this week that it has entered the new Kansas online sports betting market. Through this move, Paysafe will support multiple online sportsbooks in the state with players’ credit and debit card deposits plus ACH payments, the release said.
In the meantime, Paysafe’s marketing technology and services provider Income Access will power the affiliate marketing programs of several Kansas online betting brands.
Paysafe has already extended its long-lasting payment partnerships in Kansas with Caesars Entertainment Inc, DraftKings Inc and PointsBet.
Paysafe expands into Kansas
The timing couldn’t be better for Paysafe to expand its product and services into the Kansas sports betting market, as the state went live earlier this month with a soft launch on Sept. 1 and a full kickoff on Sept. 8.
Just in time for the 2022 NFL season, Kansas became the 23rd US state where Paysafe has a presence and supports operators with payments.
Kansas, which is predicted to generate $1.78b in its first-year sports betting revenue, is the latest North American online gaming milestone for Paysafe. So far, in 2022, the company has been present in New York, Louisiana, Oregon and Arkansas.
Zak Cutler, president of Global Gaming at Paysafe, said via press release:
“We’re delighted to continue our 2022 North American expansion by entering Kansas, the newest regulated US iGaming market. We look forward to using our payment solutions and affiliate marketing technology to help operators in Kansas establish their brands by acquiring new players and retaining them, to also ensure the wider market’s growth.”
Paysafe renews partnerships with Caesars, DraftKings and PointsBet
In Kansas, Paysafe has already prolonged its long-standing payment partnerships with Caesars Entertainment Inc, DraftKings Inc and PointsBet. The three sports betting operators have plugged into Paysafe’s payment gateway to offer their players online credit and debit card deposits, with all transactions processed seamlessly.
Through Paysafe, Caesars Sportsbook and PointsBet will make it possible for their users in Kansas to link their bank accounts to their sportsbook accounts and then make ACH deposits and receive their winning payouts. The ACH payments are supported by Paysafe’s connectivity to third-party ACH Warranty providers.
Paysafe also supports player acquisition for Kansas-facing operators using the affiliate marketing channel. Paysafe’s affiliate software, Income Access, is used to track, manage and optimize the affiliate programs of several online sports betting brands in the new Kansas market. These include Caesars Entertainment’s Caesars Sportsbook.
