Another shot at one of 2026’s biggest Powerball jackpots is up for grabs after Wednesday night’s drawing ended without a winner. The result pushed the top prize to an estimated $600 million for Saturday’s drawing, set for 10:59 p.m. ET. Wednesday’s drawing was also the first since Powerball expanded into the United Kingdom.
At $600 million, the jackpot is the largest Powerball prize offered so far this year, surpassing earlier 2026 rollovers of $544 million, $526 million and $396 million.
Powerball isn’t the only lottery game chasing a massive prize this week. Mega Millions’ jackpot climbed to $743 million ahead of Friday night’s drawing, but no ticket matched all six numbers, sending that game into another rollover for Tuesday, July 28.

No winner Wednesday pushes prize past half-billion mark
The winning numbers for the July 22 Powerball drawing were 4, 5, 22, 50, 58, with a Powerball of 1 and a 3x Power Play multiplier. No ticket matched all six numbers, and no player hit the $1 million Match 5 prize, though thousands of tickets won smaller prizes across the game’s remaining payout tiers.
Wednesday’s drawing had offered an estimated $570 million jackpot with a cash value of $253 million before taxes, according to Powerball’s official results page. The next drawing, Saturday, July 25, at 10:59 p.m. ET, carries the $600 million jackpot with an estimated cash value of $266.4 million before taxes.
How to play, and where to buy Powerball tickets
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, with ticket sales typically closing about an hour beforehand; exact cutoffs vary by jurisdiction.
Players choose five numbers from 1 to 69 and one Powerball number from 1 to 26, or let a Quick Pick generate numbers at random. Where permitted under local law, residents of eligible jurisdictions can also buy tickets online through official lottery websites.
Powerball is sold across 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
Lottery tickets available online in eligible jurisdictions
Players in select states and jurisdictions aren’t limited to buying tickets in person. Where permitted under local law, residents of eligible jurisdictions can purchase Powerball tickets online through their official state lottery websites or apps, rather than visiting a retailer.
Online lottery sales are restricted to residents of the jurisdictions that offer them and are not available everywhere Powerball is sold, so players should check their state lottery’s website to confirm eligibility before buying.

UK players join pool as jackpot hits $600 million
Wednesday’s drawing marked Powerball’s first since expanding into the United Kingdom, letting eligible UK players compete for the same jackpot as US participants. UK ticket sales began July 21, and the National Lottery becomes the 49th lottery to contribute to the shared jackpot pool, Powerball announced.
Officials expect the larger player base to help jackpots grow faster over time. Even so, the odds, US ticket price and drawing procedures remain unchanged: tickets still cost $2 per play, with an optional $1 Power Play add-on that multiplies eligible non-jackpot prizes.
