One of the foremost providers of sports betting technology in the United States is using Super Bowl LVII to test new features. Kambi Bet Builder, which is available to all of Kambi’s US sportsbook partners, has added new functions just in time for the Chiefs and Eagles clash Sunday.

Among the new elements are enhanced early cash-out and live betting options. Because of the breadth of sportsbook operators that employ Kambi’s system, bettors in several US states could enjoy these features during Sunday’s contest.

Kambi Bet Builder supersizes new features

According to a Wednesday press release, Kambi is enabling its Bet Builder function for an increased number of live wagers for Super Bowl betting. In addition, it has increased the number of options to cash out pre-game or in-game bets as the game unfolds.

Kambi provides the sports betting system for a number of online and physical sportsbooks in the United States. According to a representative for Kambi, all of its US sportsbook partners will have access to these new features.

However, it’s up to each one of them to what extent they deploy them. US sportsbook operators that use Kambi’s sports betting platform for in-person bets, online wagers, or both are:

  • Affinity Interactive
  • betJACK
  • Churchill Downs
  • Desert Diamond
  • Four Winds
  • Kindred/Unibet
  • Ilani
  • Miami Valley Gaming
  • Oaklawn
  • Parx
  • Penn Interactive
  • Rush Street Interactive (BetRivers/PlaySugarHouse)
  • Seneca
  • Soaring Eagle

As previously mentioned, these sportsbook operators exert local control over which live bets they will take action on and what wagers they will allow bettors to cash out before settlement. Kambi just provides them with the ability to do so.

Kambi also hopes to extend these capabilities to more sports after a successful Super Bowl run.

Super Bowl deployment could lead to more

Kambi said in its press release that during the past NFL regular season, wagers placed with its Bet Builder function accounted for around 30% of all pre-game NFL bets on its network. Furthermore, it called testing of early cash-out options during the recent NFL playoffs a successful trial.

Further success on Sunday could have Kambi even more confident of bigger and better things. The release states that “Kambi intends to add cash out and in-game Bet Builder functionality to various other sports and leagues over the coming weeks and months, including MLB, the NBA, and March Madness college basketball tournaments.”

Thus, your favorite Kambi-network sportsbook could let you cash out your bet on the Purdue Boilermakers’ men’s team’s first-round tournament spread early if you feel things might go sideways. Additionally, more bets like a Jayson Tatum first-quarter point total could be coming to a sportsbook or app near you.
