In May, things weren’t looking good for Delaware’s iGaming industry. Casino revenue fell for the second month in a row. And, considering the summer isn’t always kind to casino revenue, the future didn’t look good, either.
However, the state’s three online casinos have created a streak of four consecutive months of record revenue since then. Capping that run was the casinos’ September revenue, which snuck up 1.2% from DE’s August 2024 iGaming revenue.
Key takeaways
- Delaware’s online casino revenue rose 1.2% in September.
- iGaming has put together four straight months of revenue growth.
- Numbers have been positive nine out of the past 11 months.
Bally’s Dover has a huge month, driving September gains
This past month, Delaware’s three online casinos saw their table-game revenue drop by 15.2%. In another month, that decline could’ve spelled doom.
However, in September, slots revenue saved the day. In particular, Bally’s Dover posted a massive 20.1% gain, good enough to balance out Delaware Park’s 10.4% drop.

Delaware iGaming revenue continues to climb at a record pace
Since Rush Street Interactive took over Delaware’s online casino market at the beginning of the year, revenue has been on a heater. iGaming posted more than $3 million in revenue for the first time in January, followed by revenue records the following two months, too.

Revenue dropped in April and May. However, casino win rocketed past $5 million in June for the first time in state history.
As recorded by the Delaware Lottery’s revenue report, July and August brought two more record months, paving the way for September’s unmatched $5.8 million in revenue.
Looking ahead to the next six months, it’s likely we’ll see Delaware’s online casino revenue pass the $6 million for the first time in state history.
