4 Southern California Casinos Resume Shuttle Services

Before the pandemic, you could take a bus or shuttle to virtually all major Southern California casinos.

However, once the pandemic hit, many casinos shut down their shuttles and buses to comply with social distancing rules. And, unfortunately, many of them never resumed their service.

However, three years after lockdowns shuttered Southern California casinos, several of them have re-opened their bus service, providing a crucial means of transportation for casino customers.

Four casinos have resumed shuttle services for their customers:

Fantasy Springs Resort Casino

Fantasy Springs Tessa bus runs five different routes in the San Bernadino, Los Angeles, and Long Beach areas:

Route 1: The route starts at ABC Cafe on N. Garfield Avenue at 7:20 a.m. and returns at 2:30 p.m.
Route 2: The route begins in LA’s Koreatown, making its first stop at the Galleria Market and returning at 4 p.m.
Line 3: The first pickup is at El Grand Burrito at 7 p.m. in East Hollywood and returns at 3 a.m.
Line 4: identical to Route 2, but the first pickup is at 7 p.m. at Galleria Market and it returns at 2:45 a.m.
Route 5: Runs on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. It makes its first pickup at Crenshaw Park & Ride in Inglewood at 5:30 p.m. and returns at 2 a.m.

Harrah’s Resort Southern California

Harrah’s buses are available for groups as a charter service. Booking times are Sunday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Contact 760-751-3204 for more information.

Pala Casino, Spa & Resort

The casino offers a shuttle for people in the San Diego area. The cost is $20 round-trip.

It also contracts with bus services that can provide transportation from and to 34 cities in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. Pricing varies based on the pickup location and the bus operator.

Yaamava’ Resort & Casino

Yaamava’ offers free shuttle services that pick up at five different locations in the Los Angeles area:

McDonald’s at 2020 W. Olympic Blvd.: Picks up at 8:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and returns at 1:45 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively.
Von’s Market at 3461 W. 3rd St.: Picks up at 8 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. and returns at 1:45 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively.
Post office at 225 W. Garvey Ave.: Picks up at 9:10 a.m. and 11:25 a.m. and returns at 2:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., respectively.
Bevmo at 17965 Ventura Blvd.: Picks up at 8 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. and returns at 2 p.m. and 4:15 p.m., respectively.
Glendale University College of Law at 220 North Glendale Ave.: Picks up at 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. and returns at 2 p.m. and 4:15 p.m., respectively.
