WynnBET, the online casino and sports betting app, is officially live in West Virginia.
Owned by US casino operator Wynn Resorts, the company announced its app is available for download on the Apple and Google Play Stores.
The Mountain State becomes the 11th state where WynnBET is operational and the third in which the company offers its online casino product. Michigan and New Jersey are the other states where Wynn customers can find its online casino games.
A growing online casino market in West Virginia
In April, West Virginia’s online casinos generated roughly $13 million in revenue, up 51.6% from April 2022. Online casinos are only legal in six states, representing a small portion of iGaming compared to online sports betting.
In a news release, Wynn Sports Interactive President Ian Williams said:
“We would like to thank the West Virginia Lottery Commission for working with us throughout our licensure process in the state. We are thrilled to bring our first-class online casino and sportsbook to players in West Virginia, marking our second state launch this year and the third iCasino market to our growing portfolio.”
The WynnBET online casino library is rather extensive. According to the release, customers will find several classic casino games, including live dealer blackjack, roulette, video poker and keno.
Additionally, new WynnBET online casino users in West Virginia will be eligible for a deposit match of up to $1,000. Customers will also gain immediate access to Wynn Rewards, used across all Wynn properties.
WynnBET competes with West Virginia casino operators
Wynn joins the list of West Virginia online casinos. The state has five brick-and-mortar casinos and nine online operators with the addition of WynnBET.
WynnBET receives market access to West Virginia through its partnership with Delaware North, owner of Wheeling Island Hotel Casino Racetrack and Mardi Gras Casino & Resort.
