After around two weeks of a soft launch that included limits on new customer sign-ups and availability, the Connecticut Lottery Corp. announced today that its online lottery has completed a full launch.
Connecticut Lottery Manager of Public Affairs Art Mongillo broke the news to PlayUSA after noting in the first week of June that the iLottery launch was around two weeks away.
Mongillo said: “We have been cleared for full launch … Up until this point we had been in soft launch mode, in which our regulator (the CT Department of Consumer Protection) capped our number of registrants and hours of operation. Now that we have exited soft launch, those restrictions have been lifted.”
The Connecitcut Lottery’s website noted that iLottery customers placed more than 10,000 wagers during the first week of the soft launch.
