  • Bally’s says it has secured $560 million in new financing.
  • The money keeps the company’s planned $4 billion Bronx casino resort moving forward.

Bally’s has secured $560 million in new financing to keep its proposed Bronx casino project moving forward, according to a Sept. 14 report by The Press of Atlantic City.

The funding is tied to Bally’s plan for a $4 billion casino resort at Bally’s Golf Links at Ferry Point in New York City. If built, the development would turn a former landfill site into the largest private development in the Bronx.

The report did not detail the lender or lenders behind the financing, and the terms of the deal were not included.

Financing keeps a major New York casino bid alive

The new capital is significant because Bally’s is pursuing one of the biggest proposed casino developments in New York. A $560 million financing package does not complete the full project budget, but it gives Bally’s additional backing as it continues advancing the planned resort.

The company’s Bronx proposal centers on Ferry Point, where Bally’s already operates the golf links property. The broader project has been framed as a transformative redevelopment of a former landfill into a large-scale private investment site.

Several questions remain unanswered. Those include:

  • The identity of the financing providers
  • The structure and terms of the $560 million package
  • The current status of the project in New York’s casino licensing process
  • Whether the financing changes the expected timeline for the Bronx resort

Based on reporting by Wayne Parry for The Press of Atlantic City.
