Kalshi has landed its biggest sports sponsorship to date, partnering with House of GOAL. Footballco announced the deal June 23 in New York, naming Kalshi the official prediction market sponsor of House of GOAL, a 16-day soccer festival running July 3-19 in Industry City, Brooklyn.
House of GOAL is set to be the largest soccer cultural event in the United States this summer. Kalshi will introduce live, regulated markets on match outcomes, tournament progression and the eventual World Cup champion, accessible in real time throughout the festival’s run.
The integration spans physical installations, digital screens and live podcast programming. The timing is notable: The festival runs through July 19, the same day as the 2026 FIFA World Cup final at MetLife Stadium, just minutes from Brooklyn.

How Kalshi differs from a traditional sportsbook
Kalshi operates differently from a traditional sportsbook. It’s a federally regulated exchange — the first of its kind overseen by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, which also regulates major US financial markets, including futures and derivatives.
Unlike a sportsbook, prices on Kalshi are set by traders buying and selling against each other rather than by a bookmaker. Positions can be entered or exited at any time before an event resolves, similar to trading a stock. The platform is legal in all 50 states.
As the tournament unfolds, Kalshi markets will update in real time, with price changes reflected for fans watching matches at the festival. Fans can access markets by downloading the Kalshi app, signing up and completing a quick verification process.
A hands-on festival experience for soccer fans
Kalshi will anchor a dedicated hero bar in the Matchday Market Courtyard throughout the festival’s 16-day run, serving specialty cocktails as fans track live markets across the tournament. As prices move with the action, the bar becomes a gathering point for real-time debate among fans.
Live market screens placed throughout the venue will display prediction data updating in real time as tournament outcomes shift, giving fans a crowd-sourced forecast of who the market thinks will win.
Kalshi is also integrated as a sponsor into two of GOAL’s flagship live shows recorded at the festival: Soccercito and The Rondo. Fans attending the event can win Kalshi’s new soccer jersey, which is dropping exclusively at the festival throughout its run.
Soccer legend Clint Dempsey joins the festival lineup
One of the festival’s standout events will be a live podcast taping featuring Clint Dempsey. The former US men’s national team star will join Soccercito as a guest on July 17 for an episode recorded in front of a live audience at House of GOAL. As one of the most decorated American soccer players, Dempsey adds major appeal to the festival’s closing stretch.
Adam Barrick, Kalshi’s head of sports partnerships, said the integration is designed to make fans “active participants” in the tournament rather than passive spectators, calling the World Cup’s proximity to Brooklyn an unprecedented moment for soccer fans in the US, according to the Kalshi press release.
Jason Wagenheim, Footballco’s North America CEO, echoed that sentiment, saying Kalshi gives fans a stake in the tournament’s outcome rather than just a view of it — an active form of participation, he said, is central to what House of GOAL was designed to create.
Prediction markets could be the future of fan engagement
The partnership reflects a broader shift in how sports brands connect with fans. Rather than relying solely on logos, banners and scoreboard placements, Kalshi is tying its presence to participation, giving supporters a way to engage with tournament outcomes in real time.
Kalshi traders don’t just watch a match — they have a position in it. The 2026 World Cup is the largest men’s tournament ever staged, featuring 48 teams across 16 host cities in the United States, Canada and Mexico — the first time the men’s World Cup has returned to US soil since 1994.
Kalshi is betting that American soccer fans are ready for something new. If Brooklyn delivers, prediction markets at live sports venues could become the blueprint for fan engagement at future events.
