The Michigan Lottery has launched Aristocrat Interactive‘s full online lottery platform, marking the beginning of a new six-year technology partnership that brings upgraded player tools, a redesigned digital experience, and expanded in-state operational support.

The rollout officially launched July 17 and begins a new agreement under which Aristocrat Interactive becomes the lottery’s primary technology and services provider. The partnership extends a relationship that began in 2014 and is expected to continue through at least July 2032.

Platform rollout follows 2025 contract award

The launch marks the latest milestone in a process that began in 2025, when the Michigan Lottery selected Aristocrat Interactive as its full-service iLottery provider. The agreement replaced the previous joint venture model with an exclusive partnership covering technology, managed services, digital content, and operational support.

Aristocrat Interactive said the rollout gives the Michigan Lottery access to its full end-to-end iLottery ecosystem, designed to improve player engagement while streamlining operations.

The platform includes:

  • NeoSphere for player account management
  • NeoDraw for draw-based games
  • NeoCube for business intelligence
  • NeoEngage for customer engagement and data management

Working together, the integrated systems are intended to improve operational efficiency while maintaining a secure and responsible gaming environment.

Michigan players will continue to access the lottery’s portfolio of eInstant titles and digital draw-based games developed by NeoGames Studio.

New website and lottery app enhance player experience

Alongside the technology rollout, the Michigan Lottery introduced a redesigned website and mobile app developed through a partnership between Aristocrat Interactive and lottery technology company Gambyt.

According to the companies, the updated digital platforms are designed to create a smoother player experience while supporting future enhancements as the Michigan Lottery’s online business continues to grow.

Support for the program extends beyond software. Aristocrat Interactive has opened an office in Lansing, where more than 60 digital and lottery specialists will provide ongoing support for Michigan’s iLottery operation and other lottery programs.

Longstanding partnership extends through 2032

Michigan has remained one of the nation’s top-performing iLottery programs since launching online lottery sales in 2014. According to Aristocrat Interactive, the lottery consistently ranks among the top five US lotteries in iLottery gross sales per capita.

In a press release, Chris Shaban, managing director of Aristocrat Interactive iLottery, called the rollout another milestone in the company’s long-standing relationship.

“Rolling out our complete iLottery platform in Michigan represents a major achievement in what has been a 12-year partnership with one of the most successful lottery operations in the country,” Shaban said.

He said the company’s latest platform and managed services will help the Michigan Lottery strengthen its leadership in the U.S. iLottery market while providing a seamless player experience, supporting responsible gaming initiatives, and generating additional funding for public education across the state.

Under the agreement, the partnership will continue through July 2032. Both sides also have the option to extend the relationship through six additional one-year terms.

Michigan launch strengthens online lottery leadership

Formed in 2024, Aristocrat Interactive combines several established gaming businesses, including NeoGames, Aspire Global, BtoBet, Pariplay, and Anaxi, into a single regulated real-money gaming division.

The company supplies technology, gaming content, and managed services across real-money online casinos, iLottery, online sports betting, and customer experience platforms. Its iLottery division supports government lotteries in regulated markets around the world.

The rollout gives the Michigan Lottery a new long-term digital foundation while extending a partnership that has helped shape the state’s online lottery program for more than a decade.
