BetRivers officially launched in Delaware on Dec. 27, taking over online gambling operations in the state.
Delaware online casino players can now access new online slots, table games and online sports betting platforms, all powered by BetRivers.
Delaware’s legal retail sports betting market launched in June 2018, but online sports betting wasn’t available until this week. The Delaware Lottery said the launch with Rush Street Interactive, parent of BetRivers, “ushers in a new era of online gaming in the First State.”
“RSI’s successes in other jurisdictions, including neighboring New Jersey and Pennsylvania, are impressive, along with the company’s overall reputation and experience,” Delaware Lottery Director Helene Keeley said in a news release after the soft launch. “RSI’s commitment to responsible gaming, quality products, breadth of gaming content and customer service are key reasons we are so excited to partner with them. “
Delaware State Lottery announced new BetRivers online casino
As the Delaware Lottery announced on its website, BetRivers online gambling went live through three retail casinos:
- Bally’s Dover Casino Resort
- Casino at Delaware Park
- Harrington Raceway and Casino
All three retail locations link to their dedicated versions of the BetRivers website.
Powered by RSI, BetRivers has a monopoly in Delaware. RSI became the Delaware State Lottery’s official partner for online gaming in August.
The lottery’s previous vendor was 888 for the past ten years.
BetRivers’ online casino games offered in Delaware
Linked to identical BetRivers sites, all three retail casinos in Delaware feature the same online casino game selection, divided into the following categories:
- Hot Games with the top payouts in the past hour
- Tables which include Three-card poker, Let It Ride and Four Card Poker
- Jackpot games (containing Gold Standard Jackpot and Triple Double Patriot)
- Slots (45 online slots powered by different software providers like IGT, Scientific Games, Everi, WMS, etc.)
- Real-money online Blackjack with five variants
- Video poker (VID poker) with six choices, including Ultimate X Poker, Triple Play Draw Poker, Five Play Draw Poker, and Ten Play Draw Poker
While the top Hot Games differ by the BetRivers Delaware online casino site, none offer live dealer games. Likewise, the portfolio doesn’t include online poker games.
BetRivers Casino grows its US presence
BetRivers online casino and sportsbook brand operates in 14 states, including Delaware’s neighboring states:
- New Jersey
- Pennsylvania
- Maryland
In the mid-Atlantic region, the US sportsbook operator is also live in New York. However, BetRivers still doesn’t have a presence in the District of Columbia.
BetRivers’ other states of operation include Virginia, West Virginia, Illinois, Michigan, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana and Ohio.
