DraftKings is expanding its agreement with Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360), bringing the firm’s full suite of integrity and compliance tools across its sportsbook and event-contract platforms. The expanded framework addresses risks ranging from athlete harassment and prohibited betting to insider trading in prediction markets.
The deal marks the first single-operator integration of IC360’s ProhiBet and ProhiTrade network, uniting all four of the company’s flagship products under one agreement for the first time. The move responds directly to growing pressure on sportsbooks to address bettors who target athletes after losing wagers, an issue that has prompted state regulators to take a more active role in confronting it.
One framework covers betting and trading platforms
The expanded agreement combines IC360’s four products — Integrity Monitoring, ProhiBet, ProhiTrade and ProhiBet Bad Actors — into a single compliance framework overseeing both DraftKings’ regulated sportsbook and DraftKings Predictions, the event-contract platform powered by the company’s proprietary DKeX exchange.
DraftKings launched DKeX in June, giving the company direct control over its prediction market infrastructure after years of relying on third-party exchanges. Extending IC360’s full suite across both platforms lets DraftKings apply the same integrity standards to its sportsbook and prediction market operations alike.
Lori Kalani, DraftKings’ chief responsible gaming officer, said there is no place for athlete harassment or attempts to manipulate sports markets, adding that the expanded agreement gives DraftKings additional tools to detect abusive or manipulative behavior and safeguard the integrity of competitions across its platforms.
New tool flags harassing, threatening bettors
One addition, ProhiBet Bad Actors, identifies customers who use DraftKings’ platforms to threaten, harass or abuse athletes, coaches and officials, including harassment stemming from betting losses or unfavorable results. Customers found in violation can have their accounts suspended or permanently banned; serious cases may be referred to sports leagues or law enforcement.
Betting-related harassment has drawn increasing scrutiny across professional and college sports. The Massachusetts Gaming Commission launched its Bet on Respect initiative in late August, introducing a reporting portal for harassment linked to sports wagering.
NCAA research has found that 7% of Division I men’s athletes have experienced betting-related harassment, a figure that rises to 36% among men’s basketball players. BetMGM introduced its own zero-tolerance harassment policy earlier this year.
Guarding against insider trading on event contracts
DraftKings is also deploying ProhiTrade across DKeX and DraftKings Predictions. The platform is designed to prevent athletes, coaches and others with access to confidential information from trading event contracts tied to outcomes they could influence.
According to IC360, ProhiTrade applies exchange-style insider-risk controls to a market where prediction contracts and traditional sports betting are becoming increasingly intertwined.
Blocking sportsbook wagers from restricted individuals
DraftKings is extending IC360’s ProhiBet platform across its regulated sportsbook as another layer of betting oversight.
The tool checks customer accounts against an encrypted, regularly updated database of athletes, coaches, trainers and league personnel who are prohibited from wagering on competitions involving their own sports, providing an additional safeguard before wagers are accepted.
Real-time alerts across the business
IC360’s Integrity Monitoring platform serves as the backbone of the expanded program, tracking betting and trading activity across both DraftKings products for suspicious patterns in real time, allowing compliance teams to review unusual activity and respond quickly.
IC360 Chief Commercial Officer Ali Schempp said the agreement reflects DraftKings’ commitment to building an integrity framework that extends across its entire betting business rather than simply meeting regulatory requirements. “DraftKings isn’t just checking a compliance box,” Schempp said.
IC360’s client list keeps growing fast
IC360, formed through the merger of Odds On Compliance and US Integrity, has worked with organizations such as the PGA Tour and the Pac-12 Conference on similar monitoring efforts. The firm’s client roster has grown alongside a broader shift in how sportsbooks and leagues treat integrity risk, particularly as prediction markets pull in new categories of traders.
DraftKings has said it expects to invest heavily in its Predictions business through the rest of the year, making integrity infrastructure a growing priority as trading volume expands.
For DraftKings, the expanded IC360 deal folds athlete protection and market oversight into the same system that already screens its sportsbook customers — part of a wider trend among operators managing sportsbook and prediction market risk through one compliance structure rather than two.
