Hacksaw Gaming is expanding its US reach through a freshly inked deal with Delaware North. The partnership, announced Feb. 19, 2026, will see the supplier’s real-money online casino games go live in West Virginia via the Betly brand.
The agreement links a boutique game studio with a long-established US hospitality and gaming operator. Delaware North owns and operates two regional casino properties in the state: Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack and Mardi Gras Casino & Resort. The company also offers online sports betting and online casino products in several states under the Betly name.
Strategic content boost for Betly West Virginia
Under the deal, Betly will add Hacksaw Gaming’s catalog to its West Virginia online casino offering. While the announcement did not name specific titles, Hacksaw officials said the studio will deliver a broad range of content to customers in the state.
For Betly, the move is strategic; real-money online casino players tend to move quickly between titles, and operators that refresh their menus frequently often see higher retention. Delaware North’s statement positions this as a continuous upgrade to Betly’s casino section rather than a one-off release.
For Hacksaw, the partnership expands its domestic footprint by aligning with an operator that manages both physical casinos and digital gambling products. The company aims to deliver a “top-tier catalog” to West Virginia players while building the relationship over time.
A shared vision for improved online casino quality
Bob Akeret, general manager of interactive gaming at Delaware North, said the company views the deal as a step toward raising the quality of Betly’s iCasino offering. He called Hacksaw’s games “a perfect fit” for Betly customers and said the move supports Delaware North’s goal of delivering a premium experience within the Betly app.
Marcus Cordes, CEO of Hacksaw Gaming, highlighted the same theme in the company’s news release. He said Delaware North’s focus on player experience made it a natural partner and that Hacksaw is eager to supply its content to West Virginia customers.
Delaware North’s expanding gaming ecosystem
Delaware North’s gaming division operates regional venues featuring slot machines, video gaming machines, table games, poker rooms, restaurants, retail shops and hotels. The company lists gaming destinations in eight states as well as operations in Australia.
The company also plays a role in major development work. Delaware North serves as the lead gaming and hospitality consultant and developer for the Catawba Nation’s planned $1 billion casino resort project in North Carolina.
On the digital side, Delaware North’s interactive division runs online sports betting and iGaming through the Betly brand in several states. The company also owns Ruby Seven Studios, which develops social casino gaming applications.
West Virginia: A key online gaming proving ground
West Virginia remains one of the smaller US markets by population, but it has offered both online sports betting and online casino for several years. The state has become a proving ground where operators test new content and features before scaling elsewhere.
Delaware North’s two West Virginia casinos provide a local base. Linking that retail presence to the Betly app lets the company market a single brand across channels, even when customers wager from home.
For players using Betly, the practical change is simple: more Hacksaw titles will appear in the casino lobby, with additional releases following the initial rollout. Neither company shared a specific launch date or marketing plan in the announcement.
What stands out most from the agreement is the strategic angle. Delaware North is reinforcing its digital investment in a state where it already commands a strong retail presence. For Hacksaw, the deal represents another step in building its US operator network.
