Kalshi’s prediction markets are heating up ahead of the Big Game, which will kick off Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Seattle and New England are set to meet in the championship game, scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. EST kickoff, while Grammy-winning artist Bad Bunny headlines the halftime show — with traders weighing in on everything from the game’s winner to the opening song of the headliner’s performance.

Who will win the Big Game?

Seattle is the overwhelming favorite to win the championship this year on Kalshi, with the team garnering 68% of the “yes” contracts, compared with 33% for New England.

The prediction market does not have much faith New England. Seattle has beaten tough teams to reach the big game, while New England narrowly escaped its playoff game against a Denver team without its starting quarterback.

However, if New England wins, holders of “yes” contracts on the team would win $290 for every $100 wagered.

Opening song for Bad Bunny’s halftime show

Grammy winner Bad Bunny will take the stage for the halftime show on Feb. 8 in Santa Clara, California.

The prediction market is offering contracts on which song Bad Bunny will perform first. “Titi Me Pregunto” is the clear favorite at 60%, with “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” second at 15%. One thing appears certain: The performer’s all-Spanish set will be controversial.

Who is leaving Trump administration this year

Contract traders are undecided on whether Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard (53%) or White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt (51%)will leave the Trump administration this year.

Gabbard’s status is uncertain following a whistleblower complaint that surfaced Monday, alleging she attempted to bury the complaint. Leavitt, meanwhile, remains under constant scrutiny for her handling of reporters during White House press briefings.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s next team

It is widely believed that Giannis Antetokounmpo is on the trade block ahead of the NBA’s Feb. 5 trade deadline. The Milwaukee Bucks star is the biggest name among potentially available players.

Rumors suggest the Golden State Warriors have made the strongest push for Antetokounmpo.

However, the prediction market isn’t convinced. Contracts show a 47% chance that the Greek Freak stays with the Bucks or retires, compared with 22% for a move to Golden State.

Major sports, political events drive activity on Kalshi

With the big game, NBA trade deadline and political calendar approaching, Kalshi’s prediction markets are expected to see increased trading volume as bettors position themselves ahead of several high-profile outcomes.
