Hopeful Kentucky sports bettors now have their own version of the Fantastic Four. Today, BetMGM opened its app up for account registrations in the state, becoming the fourth licensed Kentucky sports betting app to do so thus far.

While the number may not sit at four for long, BetMGM has an offer for people in the state who add it to the list of apps they have completed early account signups for. With all the bonuses now available, even The Human Torch may not be as hot as Kentucky sports betting on Sept. 28.

BetMGM makes Kentucky sports betting signups the thing to do

You don’t have to contort yourself in the vein of Mr. Fantastic to fulfill the requirements for BetMGM’s Kentucky early signup offer. All you have to do is download the app and follow the prompts to complete your account registration.

It’s crucial to note that BetMGM is not yet actually offering wagers in Kentucky online. While BetMGM has a license to do so, it cannot move forward with that activity until members of the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission give final approval.

At this time, BetMGM is merely accepting signups from new customers in its app in Kentucky.

The app is available for both Android and iOS devices. It’s important to note that if you’ve already placed bets with BetMGM in another jurisdiction, you are ineligible for the sportsbook’s pre-launch bonus offer.

Like The Invisible Woman uncloaking herself, it’s time to reveal what that offer consists of. Eligible BetMGM users who complete their account registrations between now and when BetMGM starts actually accepting wagers (likely Sept. 28) will receive $100 in bonus bets on that date.

To complete your account registration, the app will need some information in order to verify your eligibility and identity. That should include:

  • Email address (for correspondence and logging in on future visits)
  • Legal name (for tax purposes)
  • Mailing address (for tax purposes)
  • Social Security Number (for tax purposes and to verify your eligibility to place wagers)

BetMGM needs to verify your information to stay in compliance with federal and state laws. If you haven’t yet also completed your account registrations for the other three apps offering them in Kentucky at this time, there’s no time like the present.

DraftKings, FanDuel and Bet365 also offering early registration deals

Monday saw three other Kentucky apps start taking registrations from new customers. Those sportsbooks are:

  • Bet365
  • DraftKings
  • FanDuel

Bettors in Kentucky don’t have to emulate Dr. Doom and pick just one app for their online sports betting. It’s perfectly legal and actually to your advantage to open accounts with all of the licensed apps. That way, you can search the various books for the best odds and offers for the wagers you want to make.

All three Kentucky sports betting apps are also offering early registration deals that expire when they start taking bets. They are:

  • Bet365 – $10 in bonus bets per touchdown in the Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers game on Sept. 28 (up to $50)
  • DraftKings – Eight $25 bonus bets on launch day
  • FanDuel – $100 in bonus bets plus a coupon for $100 off a NFL Sunday Ticket subscription

Bet365 also plans to offer $365 in bonus bets for account holders who wager at least $1 on the day it goes live in Kentucky. For bettors who take advantage of these offers, Sept. 28 could truly be fantastic.
