Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is getting a major facelift as it undergoes a $50 million renovation, reaffirming its commitment to excellence in the competitive resort market. The project has already begun and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026.
The planned updates will touch many parts of the resort, with a primary focus on the North Tower. The project includes renovations to more than 700 standard guest rooms, 60 suites, and eight penthouses. Additionally, the tower’s corridors and walkways will receive a refreshed, modern look.
New dining concepts arrive to Hard Rock AC this spring
- Sitar: A stylish East Indian restaurant debuting with views of the Boardwalk.
- Federal Donuts & Chicken: The popular Philadelphia-based eatery will open this spring.
To accommodate the rise in electric and hybrid vehicles, the resort is adding 16 charging stations at Rocktane Gas & Wash. Inside the casino, new carpeting will be installed across the gaming floor and second-floor corridors to enhance the guest arrival experience.
World-class entertainment at Etess Arena
The investment also extends to entertainment programming to bolster the resort’s status as a premier East Coast destination among Atlantic City casinos. Its venues — Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena, Vibe Stages, and Sound Waves —have a robust 2026 lineup featuring:
- Charlie Puth
- Nikki Glaser
- Rod Stewart
- James Taylor
- Ricardo Arjona
- Daniel Tosh
Hard Rock’s $700 million commitment to Atlantic City
This $50 million project follows a similar investment in 2023, which upgraded penthouse suites and added a high-limit slot parlor. Since 2018, Hard Rock has invested approximately $700 million into the property.
Beyond infrastructure, the resort continues to be recognized for its corporate culture, earning its third consecutive USA Today Top Workplaces award in 2026.
The company also maintains a strong presence in the local community, partnering with more than 500 organizations to focus on:
- Food security
- Education
- Social equity
- Youth development
Aligning with Atlantic City’s broader revitalization goals, Hard Rock officials say the resort aims to remain a linchpin of the city’s ongoing economic and cultural resurgence, staying true to its motto: “Take Time To Be Kind.”
