Play’n GO has added another name to its growing list of US operator partners. The Swedish game studio’s titles are now live on Ember Casino in West Virginia, the online casino brand of Ember Entertainment, Delaware North’s recently rebranded gaming division. The deal marks the latest step in a US expansion strategy the supplier has pursued steadily through 2026.
Announced Thursday, the agreement gives West Virginia players access to a selection of Play’n GO’s most popular titles through Ember Casino. Pennsylvania and New Jersey are next in line, with additional launches planned in both states in the coming months.
Executives on both sides described the West Virginia launch as the opening chapter of a longer relationship that could eventually extend into Delaware North’s retail casino floors.
A foothold in the West Virginia online casino market
West Virginia becomes the first state where Play’n GO’s content appears under the Ember Casino name. Players there can now access a curated slate of the studio’s games, with more expected as the rollout continues.
West Virginia online casinos became legal in 2019, and regulated platforms began operating the following year, making it one of the country’s more established online casino markets.
Play’n GO debuts on rebranded Delaware North platform
The Ember Entertainment name didn’t exist until this summer. The rebrand took effect in July 2026, when Delaware North folded its retail casinos, loyalty program and online gaming business into a single brand, retiring the older Delaware North Gaming & Entertainment label. The rebrand followed the June 2026 launch of Ember Casino in New Jersey, which marked the company’s entry into that state’s online gaming market.
Ember Entertainment’s gaming footprint spans several states, including West Virginia, New York, Ohio, Florida, Illinois, Arizona, Arkansas and New Hampshire, plus a property in Australia. The company also owns Ruby Seven Studios, a social casino app developer, and advises on the Catawba Nation’s casino resort development in North Carolina.
Executives frame the deal as a long-term bet
Lance Xuereb, Play’n GO’s global account director, said the company was glad to partner with Ember Entertainment “at such an exciting point in their evolution.” He pointed to Ember’s land-based footprint and expansion plans as reasons the deal fit Play’n GO’s broader US strategy, calling the West Virginia launch “the first step in what we see as a highly collaborative relationship.”
Davide Colosimo, Ember Entertainment’s director of interactive casino, echoed that view. In a Play’n GO press release, he said, “reputation for quality content and innovation aligns perfectly with our ambition” to sharpen the player experience at Ember Casino, calling the agreement an important milestone in the company’s push to grow across regulated markets.
Play’n GO’s 2026 US online casino expansion
The Ember deal fits a pattern Play’n GO has followed through much of the year. The studio secured a supplier license from Alberta’s gaming regulator in May, making Alberta its third Canadian jurisdiction after Ontario and Quebec, ahead of the province’s iGaming market opening in July.
The studio has kept expanding market by market with a catalog of roughly 400 online casino games, giving it a consistent presence in newly regulated or expanding jurisdictions across North America.
The addition of Ember Entertainment gives Play’n GO another avenue to reach players in West Virginia — and, once its titles launch there, in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well.
