A player at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, CA, won a $166,860 jackpot on a Samurai Secrets slot machine, according to a casino news release reported by The Sacramento Bee.

The win came on a $50 bet on Saturday.

Thunder Valley spokesperson Dawn Clayton said:

“Somebody is having a very happy Sunday.”

Jackpot win adds to recent payout streak

Thunder Valley tribal casino said the six-figure hit capped a recent run of jackpots totaling $1.1 million.

The casino also said it has paid out more than 251,000 jackpots over the past year. That works out to nearly 700 jackpots a day, or about one every two minutes.

The casino operates 3,500 slot machines and 89 table games at its Northern California resort. Thunder Valley Casino Resort is located at 1200 Athens Ave. in Lincoln, about 35 miles northeast of Sacramento.
