Brango Casino Review 2024

Brango Casino seems like it has a lot going for it on the surface: lots of games, solid promotions, and more.

However, we can’t recommend Brango because it doesn’t offer the same level of reassuring detail about its operations as other social casinos. Also, the fact that you can only use cryptocurrency for purchases and withdrawals at Brango restricts its use for a lot of people. In our opinion, players would be better served using our recommended sweepstakes and social casinos.

What is the currency at Brango Casino?

If you’re familiar with sweepstakes casinos, you likely know that they typically have two currencies: one that allows you to play for fun and another that lets you play to redeem cash prizes. Chumba Casino, for example, offers Gold Coins (for fun) and Sweeps Coins (which can be redeemed for cash prizes).

Brango Casino has no such distinction, and this is one of the biggest reasons we recommend you stay away from the site.

The currency at Brango Casino is simply US dollars (you can select another nation’s currency on sign-up from a limited list). This is a massive red flag. Only online casinos in states where they are regulated should be authorized to take cash deposits and allow cash withdrawals. Legal US online casino markets include the following:

And even in those states, the operator needs to be registered with the state. Brango is not.

Social and sweepstakes casinos usually allow you to purchase for-fun currency, and those purchases come with some free premium currency (e.g. Sweeps Coins).

At Brango, the language sounds much more like that of an online casino. It offers “deposits” and “withdrawals” instead of purchases and redemptions. Although Brango tries to imply it is safe for US players, its operations and language indicate otherwise. The terms you agree to when you sign up say, “The use of the Casino Services is forbidden to all individuals living in jurisdictions where such use is illegal or prohibited. […] It is your responsibility to determine the laws that apply in your country.”

That language seems to put the onus on the user for any illegality with the casino—something a reputable online casino would never do. Thus, we definitely would not feel comfortable using Brango Casino.

How to get more currency at Casino Brango

Adding currency to your account is simple at Brango—but again, we don’t advise that you do so.

You can deposit using a number of methods, including:

  • Credit/debit cards
  • Litecoin
  • Bitcoin
  • Ethereum
  • Dogecoin
  • Cardano

Brango Casino full review

Below, we grade Brango Casino on features players might look for in an online social casino. We’ll use a standard letter-grade system, in which an A+ is absolutely outstanding and an F is an abject failure.

Brango bonuses and promotions grade: C

Here’s the thing. If Brango Casino was a reputable operation that we could recommend in good conscience, this grade would be an A+. Brango offers a ton of great promotions, and the Brango promo codes needed are always listed right next to the deal you want to claim. The Brango Casino sign-up bonus code offers up to 500% on your first deposit, plus 500 spins. Other available offers include:

  • 200% no rules first deposit offer
  • Up to 1,000% bonus on your first deposit
  • $50 free welcome chip
  • 50 free spins

If you risk it and play at Brango, the site offers some nice promotions. We can’t deny that.

However, the fact that we wouldn’t feel comfortable playing at the site means that we can’t give it any higher than a C in this category. We may sound like a broken record, but again, we don’t recommend you give your money to Brango Casino.

Brango website and mobile app grade: C

We’ll concede one thing here: Brango’s website operates well for the most part. The app is a different story, and that’s why overall using Brango offers an average experience.

The Brango Casino website is clean and simple. The top navigation bar has three headers: promotions, games, and banking. It makes finding whatever you need a breeze.

It’s also easy to sort between game categories on the Brango website. There are categories for online slots, table games, video poker, specialty games, and progressive titles.

Aesthetically, Brango’s website falls short. All the game thumbnails are pixelated and blurry. You can still read the game titles and such, but it’s a bad, unpolished look.

Casino Brango mobile app

Brango has a mobile app available for Android devices. You can find it in the Google Play marketplace under the name “Casino Brango Win Cash” from the developer MDGameOnline.

There is no Brango iOS app. You’ll have to play from a mobile browser if you’re using an Apple device.

Most of the reviews for the Brango mobile app in the Google Play Store are one word with little context. One user derides the app for its constant bombardment of ads.

Brango game library grade: B-

The one thing Brango Casino has going for it in terms of the game library is variety. There are table games, slots, live dealer, and specialty titles, but the options within those categories are limited.

Slots at Brango

Slots make up the brunt of Brango’s library. The titles are … fine … at best. Familiar themes are on offer: classic Vegas-style games, Aladdin-themed titles, and magical fantasy games. There are more than 150 games on offer, but most of them are knock-off versions of the games offered at real money online casinos. This doesn’t mean they’re bad, per se, but they aren’t as polished and fun as full-fledged titles from trusted developers.

Brango table games

There are seven table games at Brango Casino:

  • 21 Blackjack
  • 21 Blackjack + Perfect Pairs
  • Caribbean Hold’em
  • Caribbean Stud Poker
  • Let ‘Em Ride
  • Suit ‘Em Up 21 Blackjack
  • Tri Card Poker

As the titles (which aren’t typos, mind you) indicate, these are iterations of existing games with trademarked titles. We gave most of them a try, and they played just fine. Nothing special, but they get the job done.

Video poker

Brango has 14 video poker games, making it one of the best sites for the game type in terms of quantity.

Specialty games

Banana Jones, Caribbean Draw Poker, and keno are the three options listed under “specialty games” at Brango online casino.

Banana Jones stands out as a unique title. You roll a pair of dice, and the cute exploring monkey (we assume his name is Banana Jones) moves along the board based on your roll. He collects prizes for potential wins along the way, but you can also hit pitfalls and obstacles that end your game early. Make it to the temple across the pond, and you’ll be able to pick treasure chests for prizes. It’s a lot like an instant ticket.

Live dealer

Brango also has five live dealer blackjack tables. Live dealer games are more commonly offered at full-fledged online casinos than at sweepstakes casinos. So on the one hand, if you live in a state without regulated online casinos, Brango is one of the few sites where you can find live dealer games. However, again, we wouldn’t feel comfortable playing at Brango.

Brango purchase and redemption methods grade: F

Here’s a quick overview of deposit and withdrawal options for US players at Brango Casino.

At the time of this review, clicking the “Banking” link at the top of the homepage took us to a page that purported to offer a list of deposit and withdrawal methods. Instead, it offered two lines of text and big old blank spaces where the methods should be listed. We had to find the available methods by visiting the cashier.

Deposit methods include:

  • Litecoin
  • Bitcoin
  • Credit and debit cards (Mastercard or VISA)
  • Ethereum
  • Dogecoin
  • Cardano
  • Bitcoin Cash
  • Visa/Mastercard via BTC

There’s an obvious catch here. Unless you’re willing to provide Brango with your credit/debit card information, you need to use cryptocurrency to deposit. And that, by extension, requires owning cryptocurrency. Some estimates guess that 34 million or more Americans own cryptocurrency. If you’re one of them, you can use your crypto to play at Brango.

We don’t recommend using credit or debit to make deposits at Brango. Banks and creditors can put holds on your card and/or charge cash advance fees for using them at an online gambling site.

Meanwhile, Brango lists Bitcoin as its primary withdrawal method. The upside? It’s usually instant, rarely taking more than an hour. The downside? Like above, it requires you to have a place where you can keep cryptocurrency. Frankly, it’s not worth the hassle.

The minimum withdrawal at Brango is $20.

Brango customer service options grade: D-

The “24/7” support page at Brango Casino lists two options: live chat and email.

However, for our review, the customer service experience was, frankly, abysmal. The live chat option says, “Click bellow [sic] to start the chat.” As if the typo wasn’t enough, there was nowhere to click. We spent minutes trying to click around the screen to begin a live chat session, and nothing worked.

The “email” widget said, “Click image to email us,” and the only reason Brango gets above an F in this category is that clicking the image did indeed open an email window and allowed us to send a question to Brango.

If you’re seeking quick and efficient help for an issue, don’t expect Brango to come through.

An alternative option for customers experiencing problems is to visit the FAQ page. We did that for our Brango review and the site came up incredibly short. The page had a paragraph of boilerplate text and a link to the support page, which leaves a lot to be desired, as discussed.

There’s a side menu with a link that says “FAQ” and clicking it simply reloads this same page. There is not a single frequently asked question in sight.

Will some of this get fixed? Probably. But the fact that the customer service section at Brango was so poorly constructed while we reviewed it shows that the casino doesn’t put much value in it.

What others are saying about Brango Casino

The Brango Casino Android app has 106 reviews on Google Play and a 4.6-star average. The reviews are incredibly short. Most of them are one to three words, and only 11 ratings have any text at all. They range from general praise of the app to vague uncertainty.

One user says the app bombards players with ads nearly every time they tap the screen. Another reviewer seemed lost and unsure how to cash out. This is speculation, but that’s probably due to Brango’s single current withdrawal option being Bitcoin.

While the star rating seems to indicate a good user experience, the text reviews hint that there are problems with Brango. Beyond these few reviews on Google Play, Brango isn’t featured in many other platforms or forums, such as social media or Reddit.

Brango final grade: D

Brango barely scrapes by without a failing grade because it has a few positives. The game library and the promotions are worth your while, provided you’re willing to play here.

Generally speaking, we cannot recommend Brango Casino. It may seem like a legitimate and reputable website, but we’re not comfortable with its current structure and framework. We recommend you stick to social casinos such as Chumba, LuckyLand, and WOW Vegas instead.

How to open a Brango account

Joining Brango Casino is relatively easy—a point in the site’s favor. To register, head to the Brango website and click “Sign Up.” You’ll need to provide a few details, including:

  • Create a username
  • Email
  • Create a password
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Currency you use

That’s the first page of the sign-up process. The second includes:

  • First and last name
  • Address (including your country)
  • Phone number
  • Acceptance of the terms and conditions (you’ll tick a box to indicate you accept, but this is where you agree to take on the responsibility of legality that we described above, which is why we don’t recommend it)

Entering these details will create your account. It can take a few minutes for everything to be confirmed.

Brango offers a 500% bonus plus 500 spins to new users to create an account. This is actually just one of many welcome offers you can claim with a Brango promo code; we cover those in more detail in the promotions section above.

Can you trust Brango?

In a word? No. We do not believe Brango is a trustworthy operation, and we recommend all of our readers steer clear of the website.

Brango Casino is licensed in Curacao, which means it’s legal … in Curacao. Being licensed in a foreign jurisdiction does not automatically allow an online casino to operate in the United States. Online casinos must be vetted and approved by state regulators in the markets where they intend to operate. Those regulators ensure that an online casino has fair gameplay, actually pays out when it says it will, and has the best cybersecurity measures in place.

Brango has no such licensing in the United States, and it is vague about whether US players can actually play. “United States” appears in Brango’s terms and conditions only twice: once saying players in the country can claim match bonuses and another referencing US dollars as currency.

Social and sweepstakes casinos with reputable operations very clearly list the states where they operate and which states are prohibited. Regulated real money online casinos are also very clear about states where you can and can’t play.

Similarly, regulated online casinos and social/sweepstakes sites require you to confirm your age and identity using a government-issued ID before you are allowed to redeem winnings for cash prizes. At Brango, you can withdraw without confirming your identity. That’s a big red flag. (Not to mention that Brango currently pays out via Bitcoin, so the hurdles to getting paid involve setting up a crypto wallet.)

Given all this ambiguity, we would not feel comfortable playing at Brango. If we weren’t in a state that had regulated online casinos, we would stick to social and sweepstakes casinos, which have legal oversight in the US.

Brango background

Brango launched in 2017. The casino is owned and operated by Anden Online N.V. The company also runs Casino Adrenaline and Casino Extreme. Anden Online N.V. is based in Curacao, a Dutch Caribbean Island.
