My verdict on FunzCity Casino
After multiple days of testing FunzCity, I’m ready to say that this social casino is a great fit for players who like Bonus Buy slots, arcade-style games, and spinning bonus wheels for their prizes.
It’s a site that’s fairly strong in every area, not quite exceptional in any, and that stands out with its luminous neon theme. If you plan to test the site like I did, I would input the FunzCity promo code USABONUS during registration to claim 125,000 free Fun Coins. These are the freeplay coins I used to test FunzCity’s strong Rewards Club, and I appreciated that additional bonus wheel spins came with each new level. Whether you make a purchase after using your sign-up bonus is totally up to you.
In my FunzCity Casino review, I’ll evaluate this social casino top to bottom. I’ll highlight its massively improved game library, accessible rewards program, and a couple of quirks when it comes to redeeming cash prizes.
What are other players saying about FunzCity?
This is a tough one. FunzCity doesn’t have a native app in the Google Play or iOS stores, so the only reliable place to look for proper user reviews is Trustpilot.
Unfortunately, the Trustpilot reviews for FunzCity are largely negative. The 2.0 rating is one of the lower grades I’ve seen on Trustpilot—at least for a social casino that I would call legitimate.
So, why all the negativity? Well, first, I should note that the 2.0 average is based on only 45 reviews. That’s a very small sample size because FunzCity just doesn’t have the vast player base of well-established sites like Chumba. I would give FunzCity another year to gather additional real ratings and see if the average goes up.
That said, I won’t overlook the complaints on Trustpilot, so I did some digging to address the core issue. The vast majority of 1-star reviews are from players who tried to redeem a cash prize and saw that prize capped at $25. Via FunzCity’s customer support, I can clarify that this cap applies only to Winnings from free City Coins, i.e., from the daily bonus or wheel spins. It does not apply to coins gained through purchases and then used to play games.
Is that a great policy? It’s debatable. I never like it when a social casino glaringly tries to stop you from winning big. But it’s not as though FunzCity takes your money or limits your winnings. It just doesn’t want players to walk away forever with a big prize purely from free bonuses. I believe FunzCity remains a legit site; I just wish it would rethink this rule. Clearly, it has made a bad impression on some players.
All that said, here are two recent reviews of FunzCity from satisfied customers.

I deposited a couple times, purchasing the different deal packages and eventually hit for 1300. I redeemed 1000 and 280 and had no issues. Only 5 hours later my debit card redemption is processed.
Customer service is excellent. And the variety of games and the abundance of them is a plus.
My real experience using FunzCity Casino
I signed up for FunzCity Social Casino to test all its core functions and unique quirks. When I review a social casino, I grade it across the following categories. I know players care about the web experience, game variety, prize possibilities, and customer support because these are the areas that constantly pop up in user reviews.
Here’s how FunzCity performed on my rubric. I’ll explain my evidence throughout this review.
Overall Score | 4.2 / 5 | FunzCity is a good option if you enjoy wheel bonuses and arcade-style games. |
---|---|---|
Website / App Experience | 4.4 / 5 | Neon color palette and ferris wheel graphics make it pop. |
Sign-up Bonus | 4.1 / 5 | Get 125,000 Fun Coins + up to 500 City Coins with code USABONUS. |
Prize Likelihood | 4.1 / 5 | Prize minimums are favorable: $25 for gift card and $50 for cash prize. |
Benefits for Existing Users | 4.3 / 5 | Climbing VIP club levels is relatively easy; spin bonus wheels with each advancement. |
Game Selection | 4.4 / 5 | 800+ titles. Highlights include Plinko, Bonus Buy slots, and Fishing games. |
Customer Support | 4.5 / 5 | Chat with a human representative 24/7. |
Website and app experience | 4.4 / 5
Like most social casinos, FunzCity features two play modes to explore. I would recommend starting with Fun Coins to play purely for entertainment. This will give you a sense of 800+ free slots without any risk. Once I was comfortable, I switched to playing with City Coins for the chance to redeem cash prizes.
FunzCity has a Vegas-style neon website that’s visually bold and easy to use. I’m trying to think of the right visual reference for its nocturnal neon palm tree vibe. Tropical Coney Island? I guess maybe that’s Santa Monica Pier. Either way, this alternately dark yet glowing color palette beautifully draws the eye to the crucial components of FunzCity.
Using the toggle at the top of the screen, I was able to switch between the Fun Zone (where you use Fun Coins) and the City Zone (where you play with City Coins). FunzCity defaults to the Fun Zone. To buy coins, hit the green button to the right of this toggle.
When you’re ready to play, click on a game to view its play limits. You can switch play zones here before spinning. FunzCity has also joined the group of fantastic social casinos that give each player a Favorites lobby. Click the heart icon next to any title to add it to your personalized page.
FunzCity presents a fantastic user experience overall. My only qualms are that sometimes the resolution of the games (particularly more old-school slots from NetGame) doesn’t match the crispness of the surrounding site. That’s almost a backhanded compliment. The site quality has outkicked the coverage of the games it hosts.
Finally, FunzCity, which launched in early 2024, is still a spring chicken. Its youth shows occasionally. For instance, there’s a big button on the home page that reads “Daily Missions Coming Soon.” When FunzCity eventually adds competitions, it’ll be competing with the likes of Crown Coins Casino, which specializes in such daily races.
Did I like the FunzCity app?
FunzCity does not have a mobile app for iOS or Android users, but this is the norm for social casinos right now, outside of a few exceptions, like High 5 Casino.
To play on your smartphone or tablet, launch the FunzCity website using your mobile browser. I found that the social casino works pretty well on smaller screens, but pop-ups running along the bottom of the site can get annoying when you scroll.
All 800 games are still available in this mode, and it remains easy to switch between FC and CC play. You’re highly unlikely to discover more than a handful of differences between playing FunzCity games on a laptop or smartphone.
FunzCity sign-up bonus | 4.1 / 5
For many social casino players, the first thing that draws them to a new site is the no-deposit bonus. I’m looking for free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins (which go by the names “Fun Coins” and “City Coins” at FunzCity) to test the site and try my luck.
At FunzCity, I used the promo code USABONUS, to claim 125,000 Fun Coins right from the jump. Then, I got to spin the City Wheel for a shot at up to 500 City Coins (roughly 5 sweepstakes tokens).
That’s not a bad deal, but I always prefer receiving a guaranteed number of sweeps tokens at sign-up. For instance, LuckyLand Slots gives you 10 SC just for signing up. Newer sites like JefeBet and LuckyBird get you started with 5 SC and 1.8 SC, respectively. I don’t want to have to get lucky just to receive a free gift at registration, so the FunzCity wheel isn’t my preference here.
How did I use my FunzCity sign-up bonus?
I give credit to FunzCity for including Fun Coin play in its rewards program. So, I set out to use the 125,000 Fun Coins from my sign-up bonus to see if I could advance in the program.
I was able to jump quickly from the Rookie Level of the VIP program to the Gamer level. I had good luck on the Power of Zorro slot, including a big win in the free spins round. This got me another free spin on the bonus wheel, which resulted in more free Fun Coins.
Prize likelihood at FunzCity Casino | 4.1 / 5
Most social casinos (e.g., Chumba, Crown Coins Casino) allow players to redeem premium currency directly for real money once they’ve played with it once. FunzCity follows that model, but I want to point out one quirk.
This site keeps a separate balance called “Winnings” when you play with City Coins and win. Your “Winnings” are redeemable for gift cards and cash prizes. This feels like an extra step, but it’s easy enough to track it all while you are on the platform.
There is no official conversion rate of City Coins to Winnings. But in my experience, it’s about 100 to 1. In other words, 500 City Coins are roughly equivalent to five Sweeps Coins at most social casinos.

I discovered the following prize minimums if you’re trying to swap your Winnings for prizes.
- 25 Winnings for a gift card.
- 50 Winnings for a cash prize via ACH transfer.
- 100 Winnings for a cash prize via debit card or PayPal.
Among top social casinos, these prize policies are generally favorable. Yes, the gift card minimum is higher here than the 10 SC threshold you’ll find at McLuck Casino and Jackpota Casino. But the $50 minimum for a cash prize via bank transfer is tied for best in the industry. It’s always a little curious to me that the minimum is double ($100) for debit card and PayPal redemptions, but presumably, that has to do with provider fees.
One policy that I don’t like is that you need to make a purchase at FunzCity to redeem a prize. This is not the case at most social casinos. Granted, it’s unlikely you’ll ever be able to redeem a prize at a social casino without buying coins. (You’d have to get incredibly lucky.) But necessitating the purchase for prizes could really dash the hopes of the casual player.
Here, I’ll shout out one more time the $25 cap on Winnings from free bonuses, such as the wheels and the daily login bonus. If you hit it big on bonus spins from a giveaway, for example, you won’t be able to walk away with a big prize. Otherwise, redemption rules are normal when it comes to the coins you receive with purchases.
Neither of these policies are huge roadblocks, but they are little flies in the ointment of players hoping to acquire prizes without spending money.
Did I get a cash prize?
During testing, I attempted to get a prize at FunzCity with $20 and less than an hour of gameplay. These are my standards for testing all sweeps sites.
I spent $19.98 on Fun Coins and ended up with 2,050 City Coins to start my journey (hopefully) toward the $50 cash prize minimum.
Alas, I had rough luck on the slots I picked. Luck of Tiger didn’t help me, and neither did Legacy of Kong Maxways. Your luck on those games could be totally different, but I was down to 1,500 City Coins in a snap.
From there, I decided to head to Olympus Plinko for a change of pace (and hopefully luck). Since this game’s volatility is so low (meaning smaller wins often), I recommend this game to make your City Coins last a little longer. I played at 0.25 per drop and often ended with wins right around the same number. If you’re trying to play through a large sum of City Coins and you need to convert them to Winnings with decent odds, Plinko could be a nice fit.
Finally, I went back to Power of Zorro and came up completely dry on 17 spins in a row, and that was the end of my City Coins. (This must be what it feels like to have a ‘Z’ carved in your chest.) Luck was just simply not on my side today.
Now, what does one do after a run of bad luck? I tell you what you shouldn’t do—leave an angry Trustpilot review. Up and down luck is the cost of having fun at a sweeps casino. Moreover, I know that FunzCity’s games are fair and winnable because 1) they come from regulated game studios like Betsoft and Novomatic and 2) I can see a list of the live winners on FunzCity’s site. Players win redeemable prize amounts all the time; it just wasn’t me today.
Benefits for existing users at FunzCity | 4.3 / 5
FunzCity has several enticing reasons to keep playing after your welcome bonus is gone.
I’ll start with the daily rewards. You get these every day just logging into FunzCity Casino. The daily bonus structure at FunzCity is consistent for the first six consecutive days claimed—20 City Coins per day. But on Day 7 comes a fun changeup. You get 10 free plays on the Luck of Panda slot. I’ll note one more time, however, that your Winnings would be capped at $25 from those bonus spins. Don’t expect to hit it big from the daily bonus and walk away.
Meanwhile, the bonus wheel in the bottom left of the screen was always calling out to me. I hit the button as though to spin it, and FunzCity presented me with a button that said, “Choose Any Game.” Essentially, this is a hyper-direct way of saying, “Hey, you need to play if you want to level up and spin.” So, I went right to a slot and spun enough to get a shot at the wheel. After some luck in Fun Mode on Kong Legacy Maxways, I got some extra Fun Coins via the wheel.
When you earn those wheels spins, you’re also moving up in the FunzCity rewards program.
Now, the rewards program structure lists a certain number of Level Points (LP) for each tier. I asked customer support how exactly you accumulate Level Points, and Ronald let me know there’s no set structure. You just gain points as you play and win. As you might expect, winning spins get you more points in the program.
I got to spin a bonus wheel when I graduated from the Rookie Level to the Gamer Level and was pleased to win 400 City Coins on that wheel. Stop the presses—actual sweeps tokens from a bonus wheel! I can’t tell you how many bonus wheels I’ve spun recently that purport to offer sweeps prizes but only ever land on freeplay. This spin proved to me the wheel actually does give away sweeps prizes at FunzCity.
Finally, you can’t fully cover the benefits for regular players without covering the purchase options. As you’ll see, most of the Fun Coin packages come with free City Coins for sweeps play.
FunzCity Purchase | Fun Coins |
---|---|
$6.99 | 70,000 Fun Coins + 700 Free City Coins |
$12.99 | 325,000 Fun Coins + 1,950 Free City Coins |
$19.99 | 200,000 Fun Coins + 2,000 Free City Coins |
$29.99 | 300,000 Fun Coins + 3,000 Free City Coins |
$34.99 ($24.99 with the promo code USABONUS) | 750,000 GC + 3,500 Free City Coins |
$49.99 | 500,000 Fun Coins + 5,000 Free City Coins |
$99.99 | 1,000,000 Fun Coins + 10,000 Free City Coins |
$149.99 | 1,500,000 Fun Coins + 15,000 Free City Coins |
$199.99 | 2,000,000 Fun Coins + 20,000 Free City Coins |
Will I keep playing?
I most certainly will. While FunzCity doesn’t give away the constant bonuses of its sister sites (Funrize and Fortune Wheelz), I found the FunzCity loyalty program to be pleasantly accessible. Some social casinos, like Stake.US Casino, make it incredibly difficult to advance. But at FunzCity, I’m not that far from the Voyager VIP level after just a few days of testing. On that tier, the wheel prizes get even more valuable.
FunzCity Game Collection | 4.4 / 5
I was impressed with FunzCity’s free games. One reason for my enthusiasm is that I remember reviewing the site when it first launched in 2024, and there were only about 100 games. Now, the library sits at more than 800 titles, including Bonus Buy slots, Megaways games, and a standout collection of Plinko and Fishing games if you’re more the arcade type.
Here’s how the FunzCity game selection breaks down across all the most popular game types.
Game Type | How Many? | Providers | Standout Game in The Category | Why Play It? |
---|---|---|---|---|
All Slots | 815+ | NetGame, Kalamba, BGaming, Booming Games, Slotmill, Betsoft, Spadegaming, Fantasma Games, Evoplay | ![]() | Big Catch Bonanza is one of my top games due to its maximum win potential of 12,000x my spin amount. |
Fishing | 7 | NetGame | ![]() | My favorite fishing game is Candy Heroes due to its 16 bonus features, especially Rainbow Spark and Swirling Cream. |
Plinko | 7 | Gaming Corps, Betsoft, TaDa Gaming | ![]() | Plinko Empire has an RTP of 97% and max win of 6,000x, making it one of my go-to plinko games. |
Bonus Buy | 300+ | NetGame, Octoplay, Evoplay, Booming Games, Spinberry | ![]() | I like Pop! Lollipop because of its avalanche mechanics and cluster pays, along with high volatility. |
Jackpot | 30+ | NetGame, AGS, Evoplay, Caleta Gaming, Asylum Labs Inc. | ![]() | Poker Dogs is a great game for those who like bonus games (there’s 3) and high volatility. |
What’s missing from the library?
As is the case with FunzCity’s sister sites Funrize and Fortune Wheelz, there are no table games in the collection. It would be so easy to toss one blackjack game and one roulette game into the library. This would no doubt interest a significant portion of the FunzCity player base. The site could also add scratchers, bingo, or keno if it wanted to shake things up a little more.
Customer support at FunzCity | 4.5 / 5
My highest grade for FunzCity goes to its customer service. I used its live chat function multiple times during my testing, and both service agents (Ronald and Liam) were especially helpful. I give extra credit to Liam, who was willing to talk with me about the Trustpilot reviews. It showed a level of expertise and a willingness to parse out the site’s policies.
I also like that FunzCity sends you an email transcript of your chat support conversation as soon as the issue is resolved. This is helpful for a couple of reasons. First, sometimes, I ask questions about terms and conditions that I need to reference again later. Second, if you encounter the same issue again or have some kind of complaint with the site, you have your email transcript ready to show that you’ve brought up the issue before.
Method | Does FunzCity have it? | How usable is it? |
---|---|---|
💬 Live chat | Yes | Instant support from a real person. |
📱 Phone | No | N/A |
Yes | Email support@funzcity.com for a response within 24 hours. | |
❓ FAQ | Yes | Yes, but the articles come only from a semi-inaccurate chat bot. |
In sum, The customer support at FunzCity is one of the best we’ve experienced. To improve further, we would like to have access to a detailed FAQ—LuckyLand and Pulsz offer great examples.
How quickly did I get a response?
I found the live chat function to work extremely quickly at FunzCity. I had to goof around with the chat bot for a few minutes (it never understands my questions). But if you keep pushing through the prompts, I was able to get a real person in the chat within five minutes every time I tried.
What are the pros and cons of playing at FunzCity
- Making Rewards Club progress is relatively easy.
- Great selections of Plinko and Fishing games.
- Available in 5-10 more states than sites like McLuck and Pulsz.
- $25 redemption cap on free bonuses has drawn criticism.
- No casino-style table games.
- The chatbot has trouble understanding simple questions.
Did I feel safe using the site?
Yes, I felt secure when testing FunzCity Casino. For one thing, this site is run by a reputable company in the social casino space. A1 Development is the operator behind Funrize, NoLimitCoins, and Fortune Wheelz, so it’s not some fly-by-night company based in unknown lands. It operates right out of Wyoming and has a reputation for strong customer service and overall fairness.
The only rules you really need to worry about at FunzCity are its player restrictions. First, you must be 18 or older to play games and redeem prizes. Second, you can’t be located in one of these restricted states:
❌ Connecticut
❌ Delaware
❌ Idaho
❌ Michigan
❌ Montana
❌ Nevada
❌ New York
❌ Washington
❌ West Virginia
❌ Wyoming
Other than that, I have no reason to distrust FunzCity. Even its games come from studios like Betsoft and Novomatic, which are legally bound to use fair, pre-programmed random number generators in their slots.
How does FunzCity compare to other top social casinos?
FunzCity Casino is a great fit for certain players, while others may prefer social gaming sites that have different strengths and niches. Here’s a look at how FunzCity compares to three of its main competitors.

NoLimitCoins

Jackpota
- Jackpota is a great sweeps casino for jackpot hunters, but it doesn’t have nearly so many perks for existing players at FunzCity.
- Jackpota does have classic table games like roulette, blackjack, and sic bo.
Carnival Citi
- Both Carnival Citi and FunzCity have excellent live chat support.
- FunzCity has a far smoother website that leads you to bonus opportunities with ease.
