Get the app and register for a new account
To download the app, you’ll need to visit the website using a mobile browser. You can click one of the links on this page to be taken directly to the Scratch Carnival website.
Once on the site, Android users can click the Android link to download the app from the Google Play Store. The Scratch Carnival app should be compatible with devices and tablets using Android 6.0 and up.
Apple users can click the link to be directed to the App Store. The Scratch Carnival app should be compatible with iPhones and other devices using iOS 11.0 or later.
You won’t be able to register on the website; you’ll need to install the app first. Once that’s done, you can sign up for a new account as long as you’re a resident of any US state other than Washington and you’re at least 18 years old.

In addition, at some point you will likely have to provide more information about yourself, along with documents that will prove your identity, but you’re not likely to need to provide any documents when you register for a new account.
Scratch Carnival navigation
Once you’re logged into your new account, all your account details are available under the hamburger icon in the top right corner of the screen. Your Gold Coin and Sweeps Ticket balances will appear at top center.
At the bottom of the screen you’ll find icons for games on the app, the store, draws, social media and challenges. You can check the number of sweeps entries you have entered in current sweeps drawings by tapping on the draw button. Clicking on the games button will bring up all the scratch-off games available to play using either Gold Coins just for fun or Sweeps Tickets for a chance at real prizes.
Each game graphic will show the number of Gold Coins and Sweeps Tickets necessary to play. Clicking the “I” logo will show the size of the gift card that you can win in that game, such as $5, $10, $20, $50 and so on.

- USPS mail request: You are eligible to receive 10 free Sweeps Tickets when you write to Scratch Carnival via USPS mail and ask for them.
To ask for your free Sweeps Tickets, use a 4-inch-by-6-inch postcard or white piece of unlined paper to make your request. On one side of the card, handwrite your full name and the email address you used to register for your Scratch Carnival account, along with the following statement:
