Coin Expiration Policy (12 Months of Inactivity)
Your Play Perks Coins never expire as long as you stay active on PlayUSA.
However, if your account remains inactive for 12 consecutive months, your Coin balance may expire or be forfeited in accordance with the Play Perks Terms & Conditions.
This policy helps maintain fairness and system efficiency, ensuring that rewards remain available to engaged and active members.
1. What counts as ‘inactivity’?
“Inactivity” means there’s been no qualifying activity on your PlayUSA account for 12 continuous months.
Qualifying activity includes any of the following:
- Logging into your PlayUSA account
- Completing an eligible Coin-earning action (daily login, review, rating, etc.)
- Redeeming Coins for a reward
- Participating in a sweepstakes, raffle, or campaign
- Updating your profile or dashboard
If none of these actions occur within a 12-month period, your account is considered inactive.
2. What happens after 12 months of inactivity?
If your account stays inactive for a full year:
- Your Coin balance may be reset to zero
- Any pending or unredeemed rewards may be canceled
- Your account will remain open, but without accumulated Coins
You’ll still be able to log in and start earning again, but your previous Coin balance will not be restored.

3. Why Coins expire
Coin expiration ensures that the Play Perks system remains:
- Fair — by keeping the active participants’ rewards current
- Efficient — by clearing inactive balances from the platform
- Compliant — with promotional program regulations for non-monetary rewards
This also helps prevent fraudulent “parking” of Coins across unused or duplicate accounts.
4. How to keep your Coins active
Staying active is easy! You can reset your inactivity timer by performing any eligible action, such as:
✅ Logging in to your PlayUSA account
✅ Completing a daily task or review
✅ Redeeming a reward
✅ Updating your profile
✅ Participating in a Play Perks campaign
Even a single login within a 12-month period keeps your Coins safe and your account in good standing.

5. Notifications before expiration
PlayUSA may send reminder emails before your Coins expire, typically around the 10- or 11-month mark of inactivity.
These notices will encourage you to log in or complete an activity to prevent Coin loss.
Ensure your email notifications are enabled and up to date in your Profile Settings to avoid missing important alerts.
6. Reactivating an inactive account
If your Coins have already expired:
- You can log back in at any time and resume earning new Coins.
- Your account remains active — only the previous Coin balance is removed.
- Unfortunately, expired Coins cannot be reinstated once they have been forfeited.
- To start fresh, simply complete any eligible action (like a daily login or review) to begin earning again.

7. Program adjustments and changes
PlayUSA reserves the right to modify or update the Coin expiration policy at any time under the Termination and Changes section of the Play Perks Terms & Conditions.
Any updates will be announced via the PlayUSA website or email notifications.
Important notes
- Coins are promotional only and have no cash value.
- Coin expiration is based solely on account inactivity, not account age.
- Expired Coins cannot be recovered once removed.
- Users must remain active within 12 months to retain balances.
In summary
Your Play Perks Coins remain valid as long as you stay active on PlayUSA.
Log in, complete a task, or redeem a reward at least once every 12 months to keep your Coins safe and growing.
It only takes a moment to stay active — and it keeps your rewards right where they belong: with you!
