Cole Rush is a writer for PlayUSA. Cole received his degree in creative writing from the University of Iowa and then kickstarted his career in online gambling at WMS Gaming, which was later acquired by Scientific Games, now Light & Wonder.

Following his six-year stint at Scientific Games, Cole made the leap to freelance journalism in 2020. Now, he covers every nook and cranny of the industry, including online casinos, social and sweepstakes casinos, sports betting, new markets, and much more. Cole is especially dedicated to thoroughly testing land-based casinos, online igaming operators, and even processes in the igaming space.
