Emma Trotter is based in Las Vegas and has been in various writer and editor roles for more than 15 years.

She began her journalism career at several prominent local lifestyle and entertainment magazines including VEGAS and LVM, interviewing movers and shakers in local art, dining, fashion, and beauty, and writing in-depth features on high-profile gaming figures, chefs and entertainers.

She eventually moved into hospitality as Digital Content Editor and Senior Editor at Caesars Entertainment, writing about the rooms, amenities, attractions and casino gaming at the company’s Las Vegas properties.

She then spent a few years in roles in content strategy and brand marketing at Wynn Las Vegas casino-resort and working for the Property Brothers’ lifestyle brand before joining Catena Media as Managing Editor of PlayUSA.com. She helps manage a team of writers and edits and optimizes their news stories while assisting with content tasks on the site’s gambling guides and operator review pages.

Emma graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism & Media Studies.
