Verdict from my CoinsBack Social Casino review

CoinsBack comes out of the gate strong with its welcome bonus and value proposition. As soon as I signed up and verified my identity at the social casino, I received the CoinsBack no-deposit bonus of 500,000 Gold Coins and 2 free Sweeps Coins.

The site’s name is the biggest clue as to what makes CoinsBack different. It was bombarded (in a nice way) with information about the CoinsBack model, which grants 50% coins back on every SC spin. It’s important to know that the 50% coin back bonus on each SC spin is calculated by the house edge of each spin. The amount is significantly smaller than the total value of any spin. Still, it’s something I’ve never seen before, and it is granted instantly after each spin.

From my standpoint (having reviewed dozens of social sweepstakes casinos), CoinsBack impressed me on many fronts. It comes from MW Services Limited, the same company behind WOW Vegas. That’s a good foundation, and CoinsBack builds on it with the advertised rebate model and a hefty library of slots and fishing/shooting games.

Coinsback welcome bonus
Here, you see the CoinsBack welcome offer and their unique 50% policy.

While there’s no mobile app, CoinsBack runs well on mobile browsers and desktop devices. I tested both for this CoinsBack review, and they each worked smoothly.

Downsides of CoinsBack include a long list of restricted or semi-restricted states, a lack of live dealers or table games, and the slight disappointment of the 50% coin back promise applying only to the house edge. The minimum cash prize redemption is also 100 SC ($100), which is fairly high.

My real experience using CoinsBack Social Casino

I spent an hour playing casino games at CoinsBack for this review and multiple additional hours perusing the site to provide a comprehensive overview. I’ll rate the social casino in the following categories because they cover the vast majority of any user’s experience, including mine.

Overall Score4.2 / 5Strong welcome bonus and great value proposition impressed on many fronts.
Sign-Up Bonus4.2 / 5Excellent first purchase value is three times the normal package.
Prize Likelihood4 / 5Ongoing 50% coin back makes prize redemption a distinct possibility.
Web and app experience4.5 / 5The mobile site is smooth and breezy, with simple, intuitive navigation.
Benefits for Existing Users4.5 / 5Instant 50% house edge rebate on every SC spin is the biggest draw.
Game Selection4 / 5The large library includes one of the best fishing/shooting game collections.
Customer Support3.5 / 5Searchable FAQ was helpful, and an agent responded quickly via live chat.

I arrived at these by comparing CoinsBack Casino’s offerings to dozens of other top social casinos and by following PlayUSA’s dedicated review process.

CoinsBack sign-up bonus | 4.2 / 5

CoinsBack earns fairly high marks in the sign-up bonus category. Right out of the gate, new users get a free 500,000 Gold Coins and 2 free Sweeps Coins. This is a very standard no-deposit sweepstakes bonus. If you’re looking for a great no-deposit value, only sites like Rolla Casino and Stake.US can really outshine this free gift.

I was also offered a first purchase bonus, which is more generous than the CoinsBack no-deposit bonus. Purchases are completely optional at CoinsBack, but they’re a nice way to boost your balance, especially on your first time playing. The first purchase offer is $9.99 for 1,500,000 Gold Coins and 30 free SC. In contrast, the typical $0.99 package grants 500,000 GC and 10 free SC. It’s three times the normal value. Other sweepstakes casinos provide slightly lesser value (often 2x) on their first purchase packages, so CoinsBack has a leg up here.

Coinsback Casino review and bonus breakdown

How did I use my CoinsBack sign-up bonus?

I signed up for CoinsBack and took advantage of the first-purchase offer for $9.99 with my review budget. I started by playing with Gold Coins to get a feel for the site and play a handful of games.

I headed to the Megaways section and loaded BGaming’s Book of Cats Megaways. With limited time to play, I chose to buy a bonus for 750,000 GC (my base play was 5,000 GC). I don’t necessarily recommend this, but you can have the same experience for a much smaller base play, especially if using SC. The bonus ended, and I won more than 3,000,000 GC, a massive return thanks to a single lucky spin.

When I switched to SC, I wasn’t quite so lucky, but I stayed in the game for a while. I played a handful of spins on NetEnt’s Starburst slot and another batch on the CoinsBack original Plinko. After about half an hour, I had lost most of my SC, ending with a balance of 0.48 SC. I visited the “Claim CoinsBack” page and had about 2 SC waiting for me, which was a nice touch.

By combining the sign-up bonus and the first purchase offer, I was able to create a substantial and enjoyable play session. Despite losing some SC, I had plenty of GC to continue trying games.

CoinsBack will not give you any free SC until you verify your identity with Sumsub. Get your ID handy for scanning.

Prize likelihood at CoinsBack | 4/5

Disclaimer: Just like at real money casinos, there is never any guarantee of winning at social gaming sites. In fact, you should probably expect to lose. Responsible casino players do. They play only for entertainment.

Your likelihood of winning a prize at CoinsBack hinges on luck, of course, but there are various other factors at play. Here are the main things to note.

  • Redemption minimums: The minimum prize redemption for cash prizes is 100 SC ($100). For gift cards, the redemption minimum is 50 SC ($50).
  • Playthrough requirement: CoinsBack requires 1x playthrough of all Sweeps Coins before they become redeemable. You must play through your SC and amass enough to meet the minimum for your preferred redemption method.
  • Redemption options: Cash prizes or gift cards. Of the two, gift cards are easier to achieve because they have a lower minimum of 50 SC.
  • Daily bonus size: You can get up to 100,000 GC and 0.3 free Sc for logging in each day. These amounts are small, but they can add up over time.
  • Ongoing bonuses: Other ways to get SC (and thus get closer to a prize) include the coins back on every spin, a mail-in request, referral bonuses, and other promotions.
  • Game RTP: Playing games with high RTPs can maximize your chances of winning (they create a lower house edge), but this is not a guarantee. Also, the lower the house edge, the lower your 50% coin back bonus is.

CoinsBack prizes

Did I get a cash prize?

Short answer? Not yet! But the longer answer is far more interesting (and telling).

First, consider how I had a big win while playing with GC (details above). It’s possible I could’ve received an SC prize if I had a similarly lucky spin.

Further, I have a budget of $20 and roughly one hour to play at any site I review. That’s a relatively low amount and a limited time in which to play. I think CoinsBack makes redeeming prizes a distinct possibility, especially with the 50% coin back on each spin. The only major obstacle I see is the high 100 SC minimum for cash prizes.

Had I spent a little more time and money on the site, I think I could’ve amassed enough eligible SC to redeem a gift card.

CoinsBack website and app experience | 4.5 / 5

CoinsBack had big shoes to fill, in my opinion. I’ve long touted WOW Vegas as one of the best sweepstakes casinos out there, so CoinsBack’s parent company had a reputation that preceded it. Fortunately, it lives up to the standard set by its ancestor.

Navigation is simple, which in this case is an incredibly good thing. I was able to sort games by category, from Popular to New to Hold and Spin to Megaways, and many more. Each category’s button immediately loaded a page populated with all relevant titles. The main menu on the left-hand side of the home screen also helped make things easy. It included various categories, plus options for CoinsBack, the CoinsClub VIP program, Leaderboards, and referrals. The coin shop is equally intuitive, with no-nonsense displays of available packages.

Payment options

You can purchase Gold Coins (and get some Sweeps Coins free) using the following methods at CoinsBack.

All of these methods will process instantly. I made my first purchase with Apple Pay. From my desktop, I just scanned a code and approved the purchase via my phone. It was completed in seconds.

I also need to shout out one improvement that CoinsBack has already made to its product. The site launched with 2.9% processing fees on purchases, but removed them just weeks after debuting. Kudos to CoinsBack for immediately acting on user feedback.

Redemptions are available via these methods:

  • Cash prize (minimum 100 SC)
  • Gift card (minimum 50 SC)

You must complete KYC verification before you’re eligible to redeem, and you need to have enough eligible SC. Redemptions take between 24 hours and 5 days, depending on the method and internal approvals. Gift cards tend to be faster than cash prize redemptions.

CoinsBack loyalty ranking

Did I like the app?

The CoinsBack mobile site is only available via browsers, so there’s no dedicated app. My time on mobile was smooth and breezy, with game categories readily available and tappable on my iPhone 15 Pro. Game art and animations looked fresh, and I didn’t experience any lag.

Benefits for existing users | 4.5 / 5

The signature feature of CoinsBack Casino is, of course, the fact that you get coins back. You’ll earn 50% of the house edge on every spin, and you can claim those SC in the “Claim Coinsback” section of the site. These are granted instantly and available right away after you play with SC (they are not offered in GC play).

Other bonuses include:

  • Daily Login Bonus: Up to 100,000 GC and 0.3 free SC when you sign on each day.
  • Referral bonus: Get up to 100 free SC when your friend creates an account and meets eligibility requirements.
  • Social Media Giveaways: Comment on posts on Facebook for entries into giveaways.
  • Leaderboards: Play eligible games in hourly and/or daily leaderboards, with the top placers getting SC prizes.

CoinsBack leaderboard slots

CoinsBack also has a CoinsClub VIP program. I started at the Bronze level and earned 1 XP point for each SC I played. The threshold for Silver, the next level, is 10,000 points. That’s a whole lot of Sweeps Coins and would take quite a while to achieve. The top levels have thresholds of 3.5 million and 5 million XP, respectively. I wouldn’t expect to climb the ranks in the CoinsClub unless you’re playing a lot and making frequent purchases. Whenever you rank up, you get some free SC associated with your new level.

Will I keep playing?

The biggest draw of CoinsBack is the 50% house edge rebate on every game round. If I were a much more prolific player logging multiple sessions a week, I would absolutely be back. The site is clean and polished enough to warrant return sessions as well. I think for most sweepstakes players, the coin-back model will be intriguing enough to keep them playing.

Game Collection at CoinsBack Casino | 4/5

The CoinsBack library has more than 1,800 games, most of which are free slots from providers such as Hacksaw, NetEnt, 3 Oaks Gaming, NoLimit City, and others. You can sort games by feature to find your favorite Megaways, hold-and-win, or classic slots.

CoinsBack slots and games

CoinsBack also has a selection of fishing/shooting style games in which you fire projectiles at things in the middle of the screen in search of multipliers. These are becoming more popular in the social casino space, and CoinsBack has one of the better collections I’ve seen.

Finally, there are some CoinsBack originals. These include arcade-style favorites such as Plinko, Mines, Limbo, Dice, and Keno. Many offer customization options so you can play your way.

What’s missing from the library?

The only glaring misses in the CoinsBack library are live dealer games and single-player table games. Their absence isn’t all that surprising, given that both categories are hit-or-miss when it comes to being available at social sweepstakes casinos. However, there’s some hope, as WOW Vegas has offered both types of games in the past. CoinsBack could follow suit, as it’s owned by the same company.

What are the best slots at CoinsBack Casino?

It’s always up to your play style, but when we consider popularity, game quality, and win potential, these are the best slots at Coinsback.

Expert Insight:

I calculated the win rate of the top 29 slots at CoinsBack Casino. These are all the games listed in CoinsBack’s Most Popular section, including titles from Betsoft, EvoPlay, and Booming Games.

The average RTP was 96.1%, which is exactly what you’d expect from a legit sweeps casino. It’s also good to know that Coinsback isn’t heavily promoting low-RTP online slots.

Customer Support | 3.5/5

I tested customer support at CoinsBack and found it to be lacking for a few reasons. First, the only options available were an FAQ center and a live chat. The FAQ was helpful enough to be worthwhile, especially for smaller issues like managing account details or tracking payouts. IT was also searchable, which streamlined the process quite a bit.

CoinsBack Casino FAQ

  • 24/7 Live Chat: 24/7 support via AI with the option to request more help from an agent.
  • Other Channels: Support is also available via a searchable FAQ database.
  • FAQ Quality: The FAQ has dozens of articles with simple but helpful answers to common issues. It’s best for those types of problems, not deeper issues.

How quickly did I get a response?

The live chat put me in touch with the ambiguously named “Angie,” which contains both an “A” and an “I” (coincidence?!). I asked Angie whether Skrill was accepted, and she responded in literally two seconds. She claimed I could use Skrill for both purchases and redemptions, which completely contradicted the “Coming Soon” message next to Skrill on the purchase page.

I asked to speak with an agent, and Angie connected me. I got a response within five minutes that way. I can tolerate an AI if it pushes me to an agent when requested, so Angie was relatively painless.

What are other players saying about CoinsBack?

Normally, this is where I would offer some insight into player reviews of CoinsBack. Unfortunately, the platform is too new, and it doesn’t have any user reviews on TrustPilot or other sites. As CoinsBack gets its footing, I expect reviews to start rolling in. Expect updates to this page as that happens, including snippets from those reviews right here on this page.

Pros and cons of CoinsBack Social Casino

  • 50% CoinsBack on every SC spin, win or lose (50% of the house edge).Nearly 2,000 games, including slots, CoinsBack Originals, and fishing games.
  • New players get a 200% a boosted first-purchase bonus. $9.99 for 1.5 million GC + 30 free SC.
  • Operated by the same company that runs WOW Vegas, so there’s a good reputation backing it.
  • CoinsBack decreased its no-deposit bonus from 10 SC to 2 SC almost immediately after launch.
  • Many restricted or partially restricted US states (CA, CT, ID, IL, LA, MD, MI, MT, NV, NJ, NY, TN, WA).
  • No live dealer or table games available.

Did I feel safe using the site?

Yes. CoinsBack felt like a reputable, trustworthy site to play on, and I can assure you I don’t say that about every platform I review.

The first point in its favor is the longstanding legitimacy of its parent company, MW Services Limited. WOW Vegas has long been under that umbrella, and it is one of the most trusted sweepstakes casinos in the game. That’s a good pedigree for CoinsBack.

Further, CoinsBack required a two-tiered verification system for me. The first level was for SC play and required an ID and selfie. The second was for redemptions, which required a proof of address. The added security layers made me feel less at risk than sites that circumvent such checks.

Note that CoinsBack is restricted or semi-restricted (to GC play only) in the following states: CA, CT, ID, IL, LA, MD, MI, MT, NV, NJ, NY, TN & WA .

For more information, read CoinsBack’s terms, privacy policy, sweeps rules, and other documents on the social casino’s website.

How does CoinsBack compare to other top social casinos?

McLuck Casino icon

McLuck Casino

  • McLuck has live dealer games, while CoinsBack does not.
  • CoinsBack offers a 50% house-edge rebate on each spin; McLuck doesn’t offer that reward. You’ll find sitewide jackpots available at McLuck but not at CoinsBack
The Boss Casino icon

The Boss Casino

  • CoinsBack has the same no-deposit bonus of 2 free SC as The Boss does.
  • The Boss has about 1,000 more slots if you’re looking for a deeper library.
Legendz icon

Legendz

  • The Legendz library includes table games and live dealer games; CoinsBack doesn’t have those.
  • Legendz has a sportsbook-style mechanic in addition to its sweepstakes casino. CoinsBack is a casino-style game only.
  • State availability for both sites is more limited than for other social casinos.

If you’re still on the fence about CoinsBack…

✅ Consider trying the CoinsBack no-deposit bonus, as it doesn’t require a purchase.

✅ Remember, you get coins back (as the name hints) on the house edge of every spin.

✅ Take a look at the CoinsClub rewards program to see if it’s a fit for your play style.

✅ Try the fishing/shooting games; they might scratch a different itch than classic casino-style games.
