DraftKings Predictions & Promo Code Review (2026)
- Polished, intuitive design for a young product
- Strong store ratings — 4.8/5 on the Apple App Store and 4.4/5 on Google Play.
- The learning center clearly explains how contract pricing and settlement work.
Prediction apps have become one of the fastest-growing areas of online trading, and DraftKings is one of the latest major companies to join the space. Unlike the existing DraftKings Predicts app, DraftKings chose a different approach, integrating prediction markets directly into its sportsbook platform.
The integration is excellent. If you’re already a DraftKings user, prediction markets feel like another tab inside an app you probably already know how to navigate. There isn’t another account to create, another wallet to manage, or another interface to learn. Everything fits naturally into the DraftKings ecosystem.
The prediction markets themselves still feel early, but there is a strong mix of sports markets (NFL, NBA, MLB), as well as culture, economics, and crypto markets.
I still think DraftKings has built a good foundation. If the company continues expanding its market selection and adds more trading tools, this could become one of the strongest prediction market products available.
For now, though, I give DraftKings Prediction Markets 4.2 out of 5 stars.

Three reasons to consider DraftKings Prediction Markets
These are the big three factors on my mind when reviewing DraftKings Predictions.
Everything lives inside one app
The biggest reason to use DraftKings Prediction Markets is convenience.
Unlike Kalshi, Coinbase, or other dedicated prediction market platforms, DraftKings doesn’t ask users to download another app or learn a completely new system. Prediction markets are built directly into the existing DraftKings experience.
If you already have a DraftKings account, you’re essentially ready to start exploring prediction markets immediately. That seamless integration is easily my favorite part of the platform.
Navigation is excellent
Finding prediction markets only takes a tap or two from the DraftKings home screen.
The layout follows the same design language as the rest of the app, which means existing users won’t have to spend time figuring out where everything is.
Nothing feels forced or bolted onto the sportsbook. Instead, prediction markets feel like another natural product inside the DraftKings ecosystem.
Banking and account management are already built
Because prediction markets share the same account as the rest of DraftKings, users don’t have to manage separate balances or complete another verification process.
Deposits, withdrawals, identity verification, payment methods, and account settings all work exactly as existing DraftKings customers would expect. That creates one of the smoothest onboarding experiences I’ve seen.
What are DraftKings Prediction Markets?
DraftKings Prediction Markets allow users to trade contracts on the outcome of future events rather than placing traditional wagers against the sportsbook.
Instead of fixed odds, users buy and sell contracts whose prices change as expectations change.
The biggest surprise during my testing wasn’t how the contracts worked. It was how naturally they fit inside the DraftKings app.
Moving between sportsbook pages, account information, and prediction markets never felt awkward. If someone had handed me the app without telling me prediction markets had recently launched, I probably would have assumed they had been there much longer.
That’s a credit to the product team. At the same time, it also highlights what still needs work. The infrastructure is excellent. The prediction markets themselves still have room to grow.
How to join DraftKings Predictions
If you already have a DraftKings account, there really isn’t a signup process. Prediction Markets are simply another section of the existing app. That makes DraftKings arguably the easiest prediction market platform to start using.
Create a DraftKings account.
Complete identity verification.
Deposit funds using one of the supported payment methods.
Navigate to Prediction Markets inside the app.
DraftKings Predictions sign-up bonus | (4/5 Stars)
I give DraftKings 4 out of 5 stars for its promotions.
Unlike some competitors, DraftKings doesn’t currently offer a promotion specifically designed for prediction markets. However, new users can still take advantage of one of the better introductory offers available.
Eligible customers can spend $5 to receive $150 in bonus rewards, making it one of the more valuable welcome offers on any prediction market platform.
Existing users also have access to the DraftKings referral program. If you refer a friend who signs up and deposits at least $5, both users can qualify for a $25 reward.

Event Contract Trading is offered by DraftKings Predictions, a CFTC-registered Introducing Broker and NFA member. Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Market availability varies. Eligibility restrictions apply. 1 per new DraftKings customer. $5+ first-time trade req. Max. $150 issued as non-withdrawable Predictions Dollars that expire in 1 year. Reward issued as $50 in Predictions Dollars every 7 days via click-to-claim for 14 days. Click-to-claims expire 7 days after issuance. 7 days = 168hrs. Terms: dkng.co/predictionspromo. Ends 8/23/26 at 11:59 PM ET. Sponsored by DK.
I like this approach because it rewards people already using the DraftKings ecosystem, though I would still prefer to see a promotion specifically aimed at prediction market trading. Compared to competitors like Kalshi, the bonus is generous.
Compared to Novig Predictions or Robinhood, it’s also one of the stronger incentives available.
The only reason this category doesn’t receive five stars is that the offer isn’t designed specifically around prediction markets.
DraftKings App and Website Experience | (3/5 Stars)
I gave DraftKings 3 out of 5 stars for its app and website experience. That might seem lower than expected, considering how polished the DraftKings app is, but the score reflects the prediction market experience specifically, not the sportsbook as a whole.
The foundation is excellent. DraftKings already operates one of the best sportsbook apps in the country, and it shows. Navigation is quick, pages load almost instantly, and moving between different sections of the app feels effortless. Prediction Markets don’t feel like a separate product; they feel like another feature that’s always belonged inside DraftKings.
That seamless integration is easily the best part of the experience. The reason this section loses points comes down to one missing feature: charts.
For a platform built around trading event contracts, being unable to view historical price movements feels like a major omission. Competitors like Kalshi and Coinbase allow users to quickly see how sentiment has shifted over time. DraftKings doesn’t offer that same visibility, making it harder to evaluate where a market has been before entering a position.
If DraftKings eventually adds charts, I think this score immediately jumps into four-star territory.
Mobile Experience
Everything about the mobile experience feels familiar if you’ve used DraftKings before. Prediction Markets sit naturally within the existing navigation, and I never found myself searching through menus trying to locate them. In fact, they’re only about a tap away from the home screen.
That ease of access is something DraftKings absolutely gets right.
The interface also avoids feeling overwhelming. Markets are organized clearly, categories are easy to browse, and selecting contracts is straightforward.
For beginners, I think DraftKings is one of the easiest prediction-market products to learn because the app removes a lot of unnecessary friction.
Website Experience
The desktop website follows the same philosophy as the mobile app. Navigation is clean, markets are easy to locate, and anyone familiar with DraftKings Sportsbook will immediately understand how everything works.
Again, the biggest missing piece is charting. For users who enjoy analyzing price movement before entering trades, the desktop version feels like it should offer more analytical tools than it currently does.
DraftKings Prediction Markets | (4.2/5 Stars)
DraftKings earns 4.2 out of 5 stars for its prediction market selection. That’s a meaningful jump from where this section had it, and it comes down to one correction: sports contracts aren’t missing from the platform — they’re just rolled out state by state.
Sports contracts are live — just not in every state
Sports event contracts are actually available on DraftKings Predictions; they’re concentrated in states where DraftKings doesn’t already run a licensed sportsbook, including Alabama, Alaska, California, Florida, Georgia, Texas, and a dozen or so others. That’s a deliberate design choice, not a gap — DraftKings is using Predictions to reach members in states its traditional sportsbook can’t touch, rather than competing with itself where the sportsbook already operates.
DraftKings also rolled out combo contracts in May 2026, letting traders bundle multiple legs into a single sports trade, similar to building a parlay on the sportsbook side. For a company built on sports betting, that’s a deeper offering than a bare sports category would suggest.
Economics, crypto, politics, and business round out a deep lineup
Where DraftKings performs consistently well is financial and current-events markets. I found a healthy selection covering:
- Sports (availability depends on your state)
- Economics
- Cryptocurrency
- Politics
- Business
These categories feel thoughtfully built and provide enough activity to keep users engaged, whether or not sports contracts happen to be live where you are.

Culture Category Needs More Depth
The Culture section exists, but it currently feels underdeveloped. There simply aren’t enough contracts available compared to competitors.
This became a recurring theme throughout my testing. DraftKings doesn’t necessarily need dozens of new categories. It simply needs more contracts inside the categories it already offers.
Overall Market Selection
DraftKings doesn’t need to become the largest prediction market overnight, and with sports contracts already live across a growing list of states, it’s a more complete product than a first look suggests. Infrastructure and category breadth are both in good shape; Culture is the one area still catching up to the rest of the lineup.
Fees, Spreads, and Liquidity | (3.5/5 Stars)
DraftKings earns 3.5 out of 5 stars for liquidity and overall trading quality. Liquidity is actually better than I expected.
Because DraftKings currently offers a relatively focused list of markets, trading activity isn’t spread across hundreds of different contracts. That concentration helps keep the more popular markets active.
During my testing, entering and exiting positions generally felt smooth. That said, DraftKings still trails the industry leaders.
Polymarket consistently provides deeper liquidity across a much larger number of contracts, making it the stronger platform for users who actively trade throughout the day.
DraftKings benefits from its massive existing customer base, but that advantage hasn’t fully translated into prediction market liquidity just yet.
Trading experience
One thing I liked is that the buying process feels very similar to the rest of DraftKings. Users don’t need to learn an entirely new interface just because they’re entering prediction markets. Everything follows the same design language found throughout the app. That consistency makes the trading approachable for first-time users.
DraftKings payment methods | 4 / 5
DraftKings supports several funding options for prediction markets, including:
- Online banking
- Apple Pay
- PayPal
- Venmo
- Debit cards
Since prediction markets use the same wallet as the rest of the DraftKings app, managing deposits and withdrawals feels straightforward. This is another area where DraftKings benefits from already operating one of the largest online gaming platforms in the country.
DraftKings Customer Support | (4/5 Stars)
I gave DraftKings 4 out of 5 stars for customer support. This is another category where the integration with the main DraftKings app really helps.
Rather than building an entirely new support system for Prediction Markets, DraftKings simply extends the same customer service options already available throughout the platform.
Users have access to:
- 24/7 customer support
- Help Center articles
- Live support team
- Account assistance inside the app
I like that there isn’t any confusion about where to go for help. Whether you have a question about Sportsbook, Casino, or Prediction Markets, you’re using the same support system. That consistency creates a much smoother experience than some newer prediction market platforms. The only reason this category doesn’t receive five stars is that DraftKings doesn’t really offer anything that stands out from the competition. The support is reliable, but not especially innovative.
Does DraftKings Send Tax Forms?
If you trade prediction markets through DraftKings, you should be aware that tax reporting requirements may apply depending on your activity.
Because DraftKings Prediction Markets are integrated into the company’s existing platform, users may receive tax documentation when required under applicable laws. The exact forms you receive will depend on your account activity and current reporting thresholds.
I always recommend keeping track of your trading activity throughout the year, especially if you’re an active user. If you have questions about how profits or losses from prediction markets should be reported, it’s worth speaking with a qualified tax professional.
As with any financial product, tax rules can change, so reviewing the latest guidance before filing your return is always a good idea.
Are DraftKings Prediction Markets Legal In Florida?
Prediction Markets are available through the DraftKings app in eligible jurisdictions like Florida, though the markets available can vary by state regulations.
It’s important to remember that product availability can change as state and federal regulations evolve. Before creating an account or attempting to trade event contracts, users should confirm that Prediction Markets are currently available in their location.
Unlike DraftKings Sportsbook, Prediction Markets operate through event contracts rather than traditional fixed-odds wagering. That distinction has become the subject of ongoing legal debates across the country, with several states challenging whether sports-related event contracts should be regulated under existing gambling laws.
For now, DraftKings continues to expand its prediction market product while the broader regulatory landscape evolves.

Are DraftKings Prediction Markets Legit?
Yes. I have no concerns about the legitimacy of DraftKings Prediction Markets. In fact, one of the biggest advantages DraftKings has over newer competitors is the company’s existing reputation.
DraftKings already operates one of the largest online gaming platforms in the United States. Millions of customers already trust the company with its sportsbook, casino, daily fantasy sports, and account management.
Prediction Markets simply become another feature inside that existing ecosystem. The signup process uses the same identity verification already required for other DraftKings products, and because everything operates through the same account, there isn’t an additional verification step or a separate wallet to manage.
That familiarity makes the experience feel polished from the very beginning.
What Other Users Think About DraftKings Prediction Markets
Although Prediction Markets are still a relatively new addition to the DraftKings app, the early experience largely reflects what users already expect from the broader DraftKings platform.
The most common positives include:
- Clean, familiar interface
- Easy navigation
- Fast onboarding
- Seamless account integration
- Multiple banking options
The criticism I expect to hear most often mirrors my own experience. Users who already trade on platforms like Kalshi will likely notice the lack of price charts and the smaller selection of available markets.
Neither issue makes the platform difficult to use, but both limit how competitive it currently feels against more established prediction market exchanges.
Pros and cons of using DraftKings Predictions
Every platform has strengths and weaknesses, and DraftKings Predictions is no exception.
Pros
- Excellent integration inside the main DraftKings app
- One of the easiest onboarding experiences in the industry
- The existing DraftKings wallet works seamlessly
- Multiple banking options, including Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo, and online banking
- Familiar interface for existing DraftKings users
- Strong customer support backed by an established platform
Cons
- Sports prediction markets are limited by state
- Missing historical price charts
- Limited market depth compared to Kalshi
- The culture category needs significantly more contracts
- Overall, prediction market selection still feels early
Final Verdict: Is DraftKings Prediction Markets Worth It?
Overall Rating: (4.2/5 Stars)
DraftKings Prediction Markets left me with mixed feelings, but mostly positive ones. The company absolutely nailed the hardest part of launching a new product: integration.
Prediction Markets feel like they belong inside the DraftKings app. Navigation is intuitive, banking is seamless, customer support is already established, and existing users can begin trading almost immediately without creating another account or learning an entirely new platform.
That’s a huge advantage, and it’s something very few competitors can match. Where DraftKings still trails the leaders is the prediction market experience itself.
Sports contracts are more geographically limited than I first gave them credit for. They’re only live in states where DraftKings’ sportsbook isn’t already licensed, so check availability in your state before assuming they’re there. Add in the lack of historical price charts, and it’s clear the product still has room to mature.
None of those shortcomings makes the platform bad. They simply prevent it from competing head-to-head with more mature prediction market exchanges like Kalshi.
If you’re already a DraftKings customer, I think Prediction Markets are absolutely worth trying. The convenience alone makes them easy to recommend.
If you’re opening an account specifically to trade event contracts, I’d still point you toward a dedicated prediction market platform first.
That’s why DraftKings Prediction Markets earns my rating of 4.0 out of 5 stars. The infrastructure is already excellent, sports contracts are rolling out state by state, and now it’s simply a matter of expanding market depth and adding better trading tools.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. DraftKings now offers Prediction Markets directly inside its main app. Users do not need to download a separate application to access them.
Yes — sports event contracts are available, but only in states where DraftKings doesn’t already operate a licensed sportsbook, including states like Alabama, Alaska, California, Florida, Georgia, and Texas. In states where the DraftKings sportsbook is already live, Prediction Markets focus on economics, crypto, politics, business, and culture instead, so DraftKings isn’t competing with its own sportsbook in the same market.
New users can currently take advantage of DraftKings’ Spend $5, Get $200 welcome offer. Existing customers can also earn rewards through the Refer-a-Friend program, which pays qualifying users $25 after a referred friend makes a deposit of at least $5.
I think this product is best suited for existing DraftKings customers. If you already use DraftKings for Sportsbook, Casino, or Daily Fantasy Sports, Prediction Markets are an easy way to explore event contracts without downloading another app or learning another platform.
It depends on what you’re looking for. If your only goal is trading prediction markets, Kalshi still edges out DraftKings on deeper liquidity, a broader overall market selection, and tools like historical price charts, and its sports contracts are available nationwide rather than state by state.
If you’re already invested in the DraftKings ecosystem, however, the convenience of having everything under one account is difficult to beat, and sports contracts are still on the table if your state qualifies.
