Bonus and jackpots for Dolphins slot (Rating of 3/5)
The ocean in Dolphins online slot is home to aquatic animals, buried treasure, and a few fun features. The first one you’ll notice is the wild, which is represented by the game’s theme: dolphins. Appearing on reels three, four, and five, wilds will substitute for regular icons to help form symbol matches.
Along with actual dolphins, you’ll see coins with dolphins imprinted upon them. These are scatters, which grant the following multipliers:
- Three scatters: 2x your bet
- Four scatters: 10x your bet
- Five scatters: 100x your bet
Three scatters will also award 10 free spins. During these rounds, wilds appear on the middle reels instead. If you make additional scatter combinations, you’ll win five more rounds.
In terms of ratings, we’d give the bonus features a 3/5. Although the bonuses are fun, they lack originality — wilds, scatters, and free spins are commonly found in most slot games.
Dolphins slot graphics and visuals (Rating of 4/5)
Dolphins slot machine immediately transports you to the ocean floor, where you’ll find deep blue water, floating bubbles, and a purple coral reef. In the middle of the screen are beige reels, which are filled with symbols like dolphins, angelfish, clams, coins, and ships. When you make symbol combinations, these aquatic animals will swim around in celebration.
Overall, we’d rate the graphics a 4/5. The main drawback is the beige color of the reels — it doesn’t fit in and blocks out the ocean background.
Dolphins slot gameplay (Rating of 3/5)
When it comes to user experience, Dolphins slot has its pros and cons. On the bright side, players can customize their bet, adjust the sound, and turn on autoplay. It’s also easy to keep track of wins because the game traces out pay-lines and records your balance at the bottom.
On the downside, there’s no option to increase the game speed (which is moderately paced) or implement a loss limit. The game would also benefit from some music. For these reasons, gameplay gets a 3/5.
Overall rating for Dolphins by Ainsworth (Rating of 3.3/5)
If you’re looking for an entertaining, ocean-themed slot game with fun graphics and bonus features, you’ve come to the right place. The visuals will make you feel like you’re on an actual aquatic exploration, while the bonus features make every spin a little more exciting. However, the game definitely needs more original bonus features and additional customization settings.
After measuring the positives and negatives, we’d give Dolphins online slots a 3/5 rating. For more ocean fun, try Dolphin Dice by Ainsworth.
