If you feel like modern slots try too hard to be edgy or serious at times, try Dollar Llama. This whimsical High 5 Games slot has a fun, playful energy that exudes just about every element of its design. Even the name is a pun, and the visuals have a Pixar-style sort of personality and vibrancy, with lazy capybara, money-hunting llamas, and adorable monkeys. The slot is no slouch with bonus features either, with free games and scatter jackpots. Try Dollar Llama yourself to see how you like it.

What makes Dollar Llama slot great
Style and simplicity are two of the areas where Dollar Llama really delivers.
- Straightforward and fun: There are two major bonus features, and they’re both easy to understand.
- Good top payout and RTP: Dollar Llama hits the industry standard with an RTP of 96% and boasts a respectable $100,000 top payout.
- Original design: A 4×6 reel set and Andes mountains theme help the game feel unique.
How Dollar Llama slot could improve
There are also a few areas where this game can improve:
- Not much variety: Deeper or more diverse bonus features would boost Dollar Llama’s entertainment value.
- Increase combination payouts: The most common combinations pay low to the extent that there are many ways to win without recouping your original bet.
- High minimum bet: Not being able to bet less than $1 per game may make the game more intimidating for some players.

How to play Dollar Llama slot online
While Dollar Llama does look immediately different from other real money slots, the 4×6 format doesn’t make it more difficult to play. All symbols pay with combinations of three to six like symbols, and you can set your bet from $1-$300 per spin. You can start playing by clicking the spin button and instantly bring a result by clicking it again, and there’s also in-depth autoplay available. There are several loss limits and win limits, a turbo boost, and the option to play 10-100 auto-spins at once.
You can take the feature for a deposit bonus spin by playing the free slots version on this page, and simply refresh the page if you run out of credit. Once you decide to play Dollar Llama for real money online, we recommend BetRivers or Mohegan Sun. Check the casino deposit bonuses before signing up. Most real money casinos offer a different bonus, so check out the recommended links below for more bonus info.
Bonus and jackpots for Dollar Llama slot (Rating of 2/5)
The bonus features are the weakest part of this game, as there are only two. First, there are free games you can trigger with either three or four scatter symbols. You can trigger seven to 15 free games at a time and retrigger additional games during the bonus. While the number of free games is nice, there’s nothing else to distinguish the feature from other games, and it’s rather basic.
Dollar Llama’s other main bonus feature, scatter bucks, is more original but somewhat underwhelming. With each spin, scatter wilds that carry a coin value can appear on the reels. At the end of the game, you add up the separate coin values and receive the sum as a prize. While it’s possible to stack these prizes and reel wins to achieve some impressive payouts, in theory, it’s more likely to get average payouts from the scatterbucks. As such, they don’t feel different from normal payline wins. While the bonus features are serviceable, they’re not the main appeal.
Dollar Llama slot graphics and visuals (Rating of 5/5)
It’s clear that a great deal of effort went into the art for Dollar Llama, and it might be the best part of the game overall. There’s a fun, adventurous feeling to the game, with an angle and background that make it seem like you’re gazing out from an Andean mountain peak. The ruins and mountains in the distance work as an appealing frame for the reels and symbols, which have a cartoony, warm personality. Overall, the upbeat, nostalgic atmosphere and attractive look of Dollar Llama earn it a 5/5 in this area.
Dollar Llama slot gameplay (Rating of 4/5)
While the core gameplay of Dollar Llama is quite good, there are some shortcomings, such as the fact you can only use turbo during auto-spins. However, you always have the option to end a spin instantly, and this makes up for it somewhat. The 96% RTP is fairly good, and the high number of paylines helps prevent confusing situations where you’re wondering why you don’t have a win.
Overall rating for Dollar Llama by High 5 Games (Rating of 3.6/5)
The bonus features in this slot are rather weak, but that’s not such a big problem because of the solid RTP and low volatility. If you’re the kind of player who’s looking for a pleasant, simple experience, and you’re not crazy about complex gameplay, then Dollar Llama is sure to appeal to you. We’ve decided to award it a 4/5 score.
