The internet has provided a paradigm shift about the notion of playing on a slot machine. Rather than confining the experience to a single person playing a single machine, it is now possible to view online slot streamers as they look for the next jackpot.
We all dream of hitting it big on a slot machine. However, with slot streamers, you may be able to do the next best thing – watch someone else hit it big and celebrate along with them.
Although the idea of watching someone else play a slot game might sound a bit silly, the reality is that you cannot help but be pulled into the excitement. So, this page is your guide to the top slot streamers at work today, including their backstories, their preferred games, and how you can join them when they play again.
Top Slot streamers 2024
Now, what you may notice about our list is that we do not have any high-energy Twitch streamers on the roster. The truth of the matter is that many of those top streamers have given us pause in terms of their legitimacy. We’re not accusing anyone of anything, but we have chosen to identify slot streamers that are clearly betting with their own money, suffering wins AND losses, and are not in league with casinos to goose their results.
Although each top slot streamer on our list adds his own particular spin on the activity, there are many similarities between all five. Each is male. Each is amiable and personable on camera. Each seems to be possessed with a generosity of spirit and love of people.
However, what is interesting is that these top streamers film their streams from their live play at real-world casino locations. They are, in essence, beaming out their play from the standard seats across the nation – albeit often from the high-limit room.
Many of these top streamers also endeavor to add an educational component to their channels. Their non-stream videos tend to revolve around machine selection and answering common questions about slots. Only one of the five claims to be particularly lucky.
1. Brian Christopher Slots
Brian Christopher is the self-proclaimed “leading content creator in the casino gaming world.” The Palm Springs resident by way of Toronto, Canada travels around the country to different casinos and plays a variety of real money slots. His Youtube channel has 581,000 subscribers, and he posts live streams twice a week.
In terms of his favorite games, there is only one pattern that he seems to follow loosely. Although he drifts around to different machines, he does seem particularly drawn to Asian-themed games like Fu Dao Le and Fu Bamboo. His affinity for them may be a coincidence or due to the large volumes of Asian-themed slots in circulation, but he does seem to post content from one of these games often.
Christopher travels around the country, but his “home” casino is the Plaza Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. He has hosted numerous streams and conducted multi-day events there for himself and his followers. The Plaza was also the site for the debut of Christopher’s Pop’N Pays More, a Gaming Arts-powered slot machine that actually features Christopher’s likeness as a theme.
His most notable phrase is the hilarious one-word “rude” whenever a slot fails to pay.
2. NG Slot
NG Slot is the Youtube handle for Narek Gharibyan, a California-based slot streamer. NG Slot mostly films himself gambling in California casinos, although he sometimes ventures to nearby areas outside the Golden State. His Youtube channel has 424,000 subscribers to its name.
NG Slot’s channel distinguishes itself through Gharibyan’s charisma and cheerful approach to his gaming. Refreshingly, Gharibyan makes no claims about long-term profits and acknowledges that slot machines are ultimately a losing proposition. Instead, NG Slot plays for fun and receives his income from his streaming and (reportedly) a jewelry business.
Although Gharibyan moves around to different machines, he seems to return to linked progressive machines like Lightning Link and Dragon Link quite often. Many of his videos trumpet his acquisition of hand-pay jackpots, where the cash out is large enough to require a visit from a slot technician.
Gharibyan is an excitable fellow, and his trademark phrase – “Show Me the Power of Your Bonus” – is memorable enough to adorn the majority of his branded merchandise on Teespring.
3. The Big Jackpot
The Big Jackpot is the Youtube channel representing Scott “the Raja” Richter. Richter is a 51-year-old streamer with 415,000 subscribers to his channel and hundreds of millions of video views. He primarily makes his home in Colorado, and, consequently, most of his videos are filmed in Black Hawk, CO. He distinguishes himself with his personality, which is cheerful but a bit salty, and his trademark “BOOM!” graphic when he scores a big win.
Richter plays at higher limits than many other streamers. His spins are never less than $75 each, and some of them rise above the $100 mark. By his own admission, his favorite game is Black Widow, but he also likes to play games like Top Dollar, Huff N’Puff, and Dragon Link.
Richter himself has a colorful past. Before his slot streaming career, he gained some measure of infamy as the “Spam King.” His companies Optinrealbig and Media Breakaway paid multi-million dollar settlements due to their practice of sending millions of spam emails to MySpace and Microsoft users.
Of course, none of that past has anything to do with his slot streaming. If you want to watch someone win and lose tens of thousands of dollars, The Big Jackpot might be worth a visit. Just don’t share your email address with him.
4. Cowboy Slots
Cowboy Slots is a channel run by a pair of casino experts with cowboy hats and an unusual focus. Instead of simply attempting to win as much money as possible, the Cowboy Slots team attempts to fold an educational aspect into their videos.
Cowboy Slots is a relatively new channel, too. It has only been in service since February 2022. The two players, Marc and Brantley, play at low limits, rather than the nosebleed levels that other streamers occupy.
Despite its relative youth, Cowboy Slots already has 118,000 subscribers to its Youtube channel. Brantley’s favorite slot is Pinball, while Marc’s favorite machine is Top Dollar. They mostly play in Las Vegas, but do travel to regional casinos from time to time.
Few slot streamers have such a clear and unusual mission. According to the streamers’ website, they seek to “educate people on casino operations and make it fun and FREE!” They are particularly critical of the coaching, lessons, and books for which people pay in order to understand how to play slot games and other casino games.
Cowboy Slots is also refreshingly committed to responsible gambling in word and practice. The site itself has a referral tab to the National Council on Problem Gambling, and the streamers themselves set stop losses and limits for themselves as they play.
5. Filthy Slot Channel
The Filthy Slot Channel is the product of a 32-year-old slot streamer about whom information is a bit scarce. As best as we can determine, his name is Steve, and he mostly hovers around Las Vegas and southern California when he plays.
His YouTube channel has 101,000 subscribers to it. He posts a stream video daily.
He is an unusual member of the slot streaming community because he trumpets his victories as a sustainable practice. Unlike the other slot streamers, he claims to be luckier than most and bets quality over quantity.
We would like him to exhibit more reserve about his activities, as his methods and claims of long-term success are highly suspect. Nevertheless, he seems to be on a roll, so enjoy the ride, if you want to watch.
