My verdict on Pulsz Social Casino
Pulsz is one of the biggest names in the social casino world. Since 2020, the site has allowed users to play free slots with Gold Coins and redeem cash prizes with Sweeps Coins.
I came to Pulsz expecting a high-performing social casino and wasn’t disappointed. Sure, I found a few areas where Pulsz’s newer competition may have lapped it. (Pulsz has no live chat, no live dealer games, and no sweepstakes play on its apps.)
Overall, though, Pulsz sticks by its core strengths. It hosts classic table games like Multihand Blackjack, despite many social casinos abandoning those. It operates a phone line if you run into payment problems. Pulsz also clearly prioritizes having the biggest game library possible (1,000+).
These qualities balance out into a strong product, and I’d recommend Pulsz to anyone who wants to enjoy free slots with diverse features and make seamless Gold Coin purchases.
In the rest of my review, I’ll answer any questions you have about whether Pulsz is legit or how hard it is to claim a cash prize.
What are other players saying about Pulsz Casino?
You know Pulsz is doing something right because it has years of positive user reviews. You can find them all over Google Play, the Apple App Store, and Trustpilot.
When it comes to casino user reviews (notoriously prickly), landing between 4.0 and 4.5 in all three rating aggregators is no small feat. That only happens when a social casino has satisfied thousands of customers. Here are some choice user reviews of Pulsz Casino.

It's definitely the best functioning casino app I've experienced yet, and I've tried them all. This one is definitely the best looking at well.
So I have been playing on Pulsz for about a year and have encountered a couple of issues which customer support handled immediately. In my experience this is the best online casino I have encountered so far.
My real experience using Pulsz Casino
I tested Pulsz to get a feel for how it handles prize redemptions, game organization, VIP benefits, and much more. But first, I grabbed the sign-up bonus: 2.3 free Sweeps Coins with Pulsz promo code BONUSPLAY. Whether you’re playing for fun or reviewing a social casino, grabbing free coins from the no-deposit bonus is helpful for trying out games.
That promo code also gives you the option of making a Gold Coins purchase for $19.99 to receive 362,000 Gold Coins. With the purchase, you also receive 30 Sweepstakes Coins as a no-cost bonus.
Here are my overall grades for Pulsz, and my review will explain all the reasons behind the ratings.
Overall Score | 4.3 / 5 | Pulsz is a rock-solid social casino, despite the need for a few updates. |
---|---|---|
Website / App Experience | 4.3 / 5 | Website and apps run well, but the apps don’t support SC play. |
Sign-up Bonus | 4.3 / 5 | 2.3 free SC + 5,000 GC at sign-up is a strong start. (Use code BONUSPLAY.) |
Prize Likelihood | 4.2 / 5 | Collected my cash prize in three days. |
Benefits for Existing Users | 4.2 / 5 | Active array of promos; there is a loyalty program though it’s slightly light on benefits. |
Game Selection | 4.5 / 5 | 1,000+ slots, classic table games, and arcade games like Mines and Plinko. |
Customer Support | 4.0 / 5 | Email support, but no live chat. |
Website and app experience | 4.3 / 5
I started my test of Pulsz by creating an account on its website. Immediately, I noticed I could change the theme from light to dark to pick my preferred background color. That’s a nice touch for users with visual preferences. On test day, I was feeling light and airy, so I kept it on a white background.
All the key social casino elements were easily findable at Pulsz. The thing I care about most—my coin balances—is clearly visible in the top left. I used the menu on the left side of the desktop site (it’s at the bottom of the mobile site) to see my recently played games, check out current promotions, view my VIP status, and more.
The very top of the homepage uses a scrolling banner to advertise offers on the site, and I did encounter the odd pop-up while browsing. Other than that, I started looking at the titles available in the casino games library and started playing.
Pulsz is one of the originators of the omnipresent “Get Coins” and “Redeem” buttons that you see at all top social casinos. I give Pulsz points for this because I’m always looking for these options when I review sites. These buttons hold the key to Gold Coin purchase packages and finding the rules for cash prize redemptions.
In particular, I appreciate that Pulsz’s “Redeem” button shows me my redeemable SC balance (i.e., my winnings). This pop-up is also clear about how many SC I need to get a prize. Lastly, it encourages me to verify my account in advance of claiming a prize. That’s always a smart move.
From there, I moved on to testing the Pulsz apps.
Did I like the Pulsz app?
Yes and no. Pulsz is in a slightly awkward spot with its apps.
On the plus side, I was happy to see it has well-reviewed apps for both Android and iOS. You’ll recognize it in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store by the name “Pulsz: Fun Slots & Casino App.” The developer should be listed as Yellow Social Interactive. Don’t fall for any imitators.
The apps follow the same simple layout as the desktop site, and it works super well if you want to spin Gold Coins and rack up VIP points.
But whenever you open the Pulsz app, it will ask whether you want to engage in Sweepstakes Play. If you say “yes,” you’ll be redirected to the browser version. That’s because the apps don’t support SC play.
The browser redirect is simple and effective enough, but it did make me wonder what the heck was happening. For a few minutes, I thought maybe Pulsz didn’t have a legit app, only to realize I’d been taken off the app because I opted to play with Sweeps Coins.
Integrating sweeps play into its apps should be at the top of Pulsz’s to-do list. I guess the system works for now. But why entertain any confusion?

This is a competitive sign-up bonus from Pulsz. The amount is close to many other bonuses in the industry. Social casinos like Hello Millions, Jackpota, and Chumba Casino all give away between 2 and 2.5 free Sweeps Coins to new users.
Considering you can spin many games for a minimum of 0.1 or 0.2 SC, Pulsz is spotting you around 20-30 spins on its slots.
When evaluating these bonuses, I always have to ask myself whether the Gold Coins hold any meaning. Now, I don’t want to be too picky. The point of Gold Coins is just to play. But really excellent social casinos, like Pulsz, incorporate GC into their VIP programs to create a sense of worth for regular players.
The 5,000 GC I received by signing up at Pulsz got me 20 VIP Points, which is 13% of the way from the entry-level Bronze tier to the Silver tier. Those are decent returns from a welcome bonus, but I’ll have to buy more coins if I want to reach the Silver tier.
How did I use my Pulsz sign-up bonus?
I used the SC part of my sign-up bonus to play some Pulsz table games. Since I want the SC to last when I’m testing, I’m drawn to games with odds close to 50-50.
I played 15 hands of Multihand Blackjack and about 15 hands of Texas Hold’em. I ended those rounds with basically the exact same coin balance—just over 3 SC. As far as making the SC last, mission accomplished.
But you can also see where if you’re hoping to turn your sign-up bonus into a prize, you’ll probably need to get lucky on a slot. Otherwise, you’re grinding out the same SC balance.
Prize likelihood | 4.2 / 5
If you play with Sweepstakes Coins at Pulsz, you can redeem your winnings for cash prizes, much like at other social and sweepstakes casinos. The SC are redeemable at a 1:1 ratio with USD. For example, if you have 150 SC in winnings to redeem, you would receive a $150 cash prize.
So how likely is it you could get a prize like that? Well, I can never tell you whether you’ll get lucky when playing at a social casino. Personally, I always expect the house to win.
But I can assess “likelihood” by looking at Pulsz’s rules for prize redemptions. The most player-friendly rule is that free SC at Pulsz are redeemable after one playthrough. That’s the industry standard for good social casinos. Sites like Chanced and Punt.com Social Casino make it way harder to get a prize by imposing 3x wagering requirements.
Then, there’s the minimum prize amount to consider. Pulsz won’t let you take the 2.3 SC at sign-up and just walk away with a $2 prize. You have to reach 100 SC in winnings before you can trade in your SC for a cash prize.
That’s not an impossible threshold by any means (it’s the same minimum you’ll find at Chumba and WOW Vegas), but it’s a little old-school in my opinion. As social casinos have become more competitive, I’ve seen sites lower their minimums to attract customers. Hello Millions and Crown Coins Casino, for example, deliver cash prizes starting at 50 SC. I’m not a math professor, but that amount is twice as easy to reach as 100 SC.
That said, Pulsz does hit the best-in-class standard of 10 SC for a gift card prize. This is much more attainable, and you get to pick any vendor that works with the leading online gift card producer Prizeout. Options include Starbucks, Walmart, Amazon, and hundreds more.
Finally, the 0.3 SC daily bonus at Pulsz can help in your journey to redeem a prize. That’s a slightly higher daily SC bonus than you’ll find at Jackpota or Crown Coins. And it’s equal to the daily bonus at LuckyLand Slots.
Did I actually get a cash prize?
I’m delighted to answer “yes.” It arrived in my account via Trustly online bank transfer in three business days. Here’s how I did it. (Luck was important, of course.)
First, I purchased $20 worth of Gold Coins. That’s my budget for testing all sweeps casinos because I want to see how far a small purchase can go. I gave myself less than an hour to play the games, too, because I wanted to simulate the attention span of a brand-new player.
That’s $20 bought me 1 million Gold Coins, plus 40 SC for free. That’s a strong first-purchase offer and a nearly 200% boost on Sweeps Coins from standard social casino packages.
Looking for favorite odds, I started playing Multihand Blackjack and got up to 60 SC before the table went cold and my balance dropped to 30 SC.
Then, seeing how far I was from the redeemable minimum of 100 SC, I decided to try a popular slot and see if I could nab a big win. Aztec Fire 2 didn’t help that day, and my balance went down to 15 SC.
Finally, I found Gods of Rock—a hilarious and ornate slot combining mythology and hair metal. I hit a 39 SC win, followed by the Wild Encore. This mechanism unlocked eight free spins, which resulted in a 169.2 SC win with the free spins.
I tell this story to illustrate that Pulsz’s games are fair and standardized, and wins are certainly possible. That said, did I get lucky? Absolutely. But experience shows you can get a cash prize if you have a modest Sweeps Coin balance to start.
Benefits for existing users at Pulsz | 4.2 / 5
One key piece of reviewing social casinos is assessing what they give customers once that welcome bonus is gone.
For many social casinos, that means purchase packages. You buy Gold Coins and a certain number of Sweeps Coins come free with the bundle. These are the best two offers on Pulsz right now if you’re looking to buy coins.
- $9.99 Sign-Up Bonus Special: Here you will receive 173,500 Gold Coins, along with 15 Sweepstakes Coins as a free bonus.
- $19.99 Sign-Up Bonus Special: For double the price you’ll receive 1 million Gold Coins. You also receive 40 Sweepstakes Coins as a free added bonus.
After you take advantage of those deals, the coin purchase packages at Pulsz are average. If you check out the screenshot below you can see that Pulsz keeps it simpler than many competitors, offering 6 packages between $2 and $100. Lots of other social casinos offer 10-20 packages, and you could argue that’s not necessary.
With all those packages, you also receive “VIP Points.” Those are the tokens that move you up Pulsz’s loyalty tiers. I’m glad Pulsz has a program like this. As I said before, it gives the Gold Coins additional meaning because I can put myself in line for perks like coin multipliers when I make purchases and spin with freeplay currency. For instance, if I make it to the Silver tier, I get 1.25x the number of Gold Coins when I make purchases. Unfortunately, this multiplier does not apply to the Sweeps Coins that come free with the purchases.
Compared to the loyalty programs at McLuck Casino and Crown Coins, the Pulsz VIP program is a little rudimentary. It doesn’t have coinback bonuses or free gifts when you make it to higher tiers. This is another area where Pulsz has the right pieces in place but should up its game to stay sharp.
Will I keep playing?
Yes. I want to keep exploring Pulsz’s giveaways. Many of them occur through Facebook and TikTok, but I was able to enroll in one via a simple email reply.
I got this email giveaway pop-up right in the middle of playing Texas Hold’em. (It wasn’t the best timing, but I’ll take it.) The email giveaway was simple. I just had to send an email stating how I heard about Pulsz to enter the pool for a 10,000 GC jackpot. I love the minimal effort and that I didn’t have to scour social media to enter the contest.
Also, I’m glad I tested Pulsz Casion over multiple days because I got to enjoy the My Stash function. This is a Gold Coin feature that allows you to “stash” a small percentage of each spin. Those GC are then set aside for a week and delivered to you anew on Monday with a multiplier of up to 1000x. Needless to say, I was pretty excited to log back in and find that I had 80,000 Gold Coins waiting for me. It’s almost like collecting interest on my previous play.
I’ll say one more time, though, that Pulsz could keep me more committed by improving its tier-by-tier VIP rewards. Curiously, one of the perks of leveling up the VIP tiers is no ads, but I’ve never seen an ad on Pulsz. So that’s not a relevant benefit from what I can tell.
Pulsz Casino’s game collection | 4.5 / 5
Pulsz has around 1,000 social casino-style games for players. That’s one of the highest numbers available at any social casino online. In addition to a wide selection of slots, the site offers table games such as Multihand Blackjack and Texas Hold’Em. There is even a Pulsz Bingo game, though that is a separate site.
The slots at Pulsz are easily sorted by popular mechanics, such as Megaways, Hold N Win, Tumbling Reels, Play the Feature, and Epic Wins. These filters are a great way to help you break the 1,000-game library into comfortable chunks. I’ll give some highlights in the table below.
Game Type | How Many Games? | Providers | Standout Game in the Category |
---|---|---|---|
Hold N Win Slots | 216 | Playson, 3 Oaks, Pragmatic Play, B Gaming | ![]() Beast Band has a 7500x max multiplier, spinning gold records, and jungle animals made up like hair metal icons, this one was a hoot. |
Megaways Slots | 44 | Pragmatic Play, Playson, 24/7 Reels | ![]() This riff on Miami Vice really soars on its free spins. |
Arcade Games | 5 | Pulsz | ![]() Pulsz lets you set your level of risk: small, medium, or high. |
Slingo | 18 | Gaming Realms | ![]() This steam-punk Slingo game was the highlight of one of the bigger Slingo collections I’ve seen. |
Table Games | 2 | EvoPlay, Pragmatic Play | ![]() It’s great to see a social casino that respects the classics. |
Exclusive Games | 6 | Pulsz | ![]() Pulsz brands its in-house games, so you know they’re actually exclusive. |
What’s missing from the library?
Pulsz has not followed the rest of the social casino industry toward live dealer games (it carries none). If you’re unfamiliar, this game style started with real-money online casinos. A live, human dealer presides over the table in a remote studio, and the game is broadcast to you, the digital player.
Sites like Chanced and Stake.us Casino are going all-in on these game types, but Pulsz is sticking by its two classic virtual table games—Texas Hold’em and Multihand Blackjack. Honestly, for the sake of standing out, I think it’s a positive that Pulsz is holding fast to classic table games. Customers clearly like them.
Customer support at Pulsz | 4.0 / 5
I found the customer support at Pulsz to be serviceable but a little lacking. Like many social casinos, Pulsz has a ZenDesk-powered FAQ section and email ticketing system. There’s no live chat, though, so it’s missing the best and most immediate kind of customer support.
I will say that the email system at Pulsz is better than at sites like Jackpota Casino. When you submit tickets, there’s a surprisingly wide variety of categories under which you can submit your request (e.g., refund, Free SC, social media promotions). This means there’s a better shot your question will relate to a category. Many social casinos only list four or five options. And it never feels great to submit a question with an inaccurate subject line.
Pulsz’s ticket service will also recommend you related FAQ articles in real time, so that’s a nice touch. You might find the answer to your question pop up right in front of you as you’re preparing your email.
Finally, Pulsz does list a phone line—1 (424) 371-7304. It’s for “payment-related queries” only, and Pulsz is apparently really sticking to that policy. The automated voice message asks for the last four digits of the credit card used “for the unrecognized transaction.” That suggests that the phone line is almost exclusively for payment disputes. It’s more of an anti-fraud measure than a live support line.
Method | Does Pulsz have it? | How usable is it? |
---|---|---|
💬 Live chat | No | N/A |
📱 Phone | Yes (but for payment questions) | More of a voicemail for payment concerns/disputes |
Yes | Received a response in 4 hours | |
❓FAQ | Yes | Very. Most articles are up to date. |
How quickly did I get a response?
I submitted a support ticket asking if the coin multipliers in the VIP program applied only to GC or to SC as well. I received a reply about four hours later, which is a quick response time for social casino email support.
Unfortunately, the response didn’t address my direct question. It was more of a mishmash of information about how Pulsz VIP Points work and whether I was having trouble verifying my account. I tried posing the question again, and two hours later, the same representative (Greg) got back to me and clarified that the tier multipliers do not apply to the free SC you get with purchases.
Forgiving the extra email, I appreciated that 1) the same person replied to me and 2) that it only took 6 hours in total. I’m used to waiting 24-48 for email support at other social casinos.
What are the pros and cons of playing at Pulsz Casino?
- Broad array of payment methods, including Skrill, bank transfers, and Apple Pay (plus standard debit and credit cards).
- Supports cash prize redemptions to your bank or Skrill.
- I love to see old-school table games next to new arcade games.
- Apps don’t support sweepstakes play.
- Really wish there was live chat support.
- VIP program is light on benefits.
Social casinos similar to Pulsz
There are dozens of reputable social casinos that operate in the US. Like Pulsz Casino, these sites are fully legal in almost all US states (and some are even available in Canada).
McLuck Casino

Chumba Casino
- Chumba offers a bigger daily bonus than Pulsz (1 SC vs. 0.3 SC).
- Pulsz has 5x as many games as Chumba.
- Both of these classic social casinos start giving out cash prizes at 100 SC.

Crown Coins Casino
- Pulsz makes sure you get free SC every day, whereas Crown Coins requires consecutive logins before that happens.
- Crown Coins incentivizes players with constant daily races and jackpots.
Did I feel safe using Pulsz?
I felt 100% safe when playing at Pulsz Casino. It’s a legit site that operates under sweepstakes laws and carefully vets your identity and banking information to avoid fraud or allowing underage players.
To use Pulsz, you must be 18+ and in a legal state. The only restricted states are as follows:
- Alabama
- Idaho
- Michigan
- Montana
- Nevada
- Tennessee
- Washington
For alternatives in Alabama and Tennessee, I recommend top social and sweeps gaming sites High 5 Casino, FunzCity Casino, and Chumba Casino. These sites are all perfectly legal and operational in those two states.
